This guide provides essential information for new players in Hybrid Aquatic, covering basic crafting and initial exploration tips. Hybrid Aquatic enhances underwater exploration by adding new creatures, blocks, and biomes to rivers, swamps, oceans, and undersea caves. The mod introduces a variety of marine life, including new fish, sharks, crustaceans, and nautiluses, alongside items like diving armor, sea sponges, fishing hooks, and new corals.

Basic Crafting

Hybrid Aquatic features 176 crafting recipes. Many recipes involve creating tools, blocks, and items to help with your underwater adventures.

Rafts

Rafts provide a way to travel across water.

Acacia Raft: Craft two Acacia Raft using three Stick and Acacia Planks.
Birch Raft: Craft two Birch Raft using three Stick and Birch Planks.

Aerated Sand

Aerated Sand can be obtained in two ways:

Combine eight Sand with a Pearl.
Process a Bubble Geyser.

Fishing Hooks

Fishing hooks are useful for catching marine creatures.

Barbed Hook: Craft a Barbed Hook using six Iron Nugget.
Ominous Hook: This unique hook is crafted by combining various crab claws: Coconut Crab Claw, Yeti Crab Claw, Ghost Crab Claw, Flower Crab Claw, Spider Crab Claw, Fiddler Crab Claw, Vampire Crab Claw, Dungeness Crab Claw, and Lightfoot Crab Claw.

Other Useful Items

Argonaut: A complex item crafted from two Iron Ingot, two Barrel, a Furnace, Glowslime, a Comically Large Nautilus Shell, a Chest, and White Wool.
Bell Buoy: Craft two Bell Buoy using a Gold Ingot, a Stick, and Driftwood Planks.
Glowslime: This ingredient can be obtained by processing a Glowslime Block, or by combining a Slimeball with a Glow Ink Sac.
Black Pearl Block: Craft a Black Pearl Block from nine Black Pearl. Conversely, nine Black Pearl can be obtained from a Black Pearl Block.
