Hybrid Aquatic enhances underwater exploration by introducing new biomes, structures, and specialized gear for deep-sea adventures. This guide details some of the features you can discover.
Discovering Whale Falls
The Whale Fall is a unique structure that generates in specific aquatic biomes. These structures appear in biomes tagged with `#hybrid_aquatic:has_whale_fall`. When exploring, you can expect to find one Whale Fall attempt per 16x16 chunk region, with each instance placed at least 3 chunks apart from others. Within the vicinity of a Whale Fall, the natural spawning of certain creatures is affected; it overrides the spawning of `hybrid_aquatic:critter`, `hybrid_aquatic:crustacean`, and `hybrid_aquatic:fish`.
Diving Armor Upgrades
To better prepare for underwater journeys, Hybrid Aquatic provides specialized diving armor that can be upgraded. These upgrades enhance your existing diving gear.
The 
Diving Armor Upgrade Template is a key component for improving your diving suit. You can craft this template using a shaped recipe: seven Prismarine Shard items, one existing Diving Armor Upgrade Template, and some Prismarine Crystals. This process yields a new Diving Armor Upgrade Template.
Once you have a Diving Armor Upgrade Template and a 
Black Pearl, you can reinforce your diving gear using a smithing transform recipe. This process applies to individual armor pieces:

Reinforced Diving Leggings, combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, 
Diving Leggings, and a Black Pearl. * To create a 
Reinforced Diving Helmet, combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, a
