Immersive Armors: Forty Items, Forty Recipes
Immersive Armors adds armour sets and nothing else. This guide covers exactly what that means, because the mod's numbers are unusually clean.
Forty items, forty recipes, zero blocks
The whole mod is 40 pages built on 40 items, with no blocks at all and 40 crafting recipes — identical on both versions.
One recipe per item, no exceptions. There is no variant to convert, no upgrade path through smithing, no processing step and no station to build. Every piece is made once, in an ordinary crafting grid.
That is about as simple as a mod's structure gets, and it makes the mod trivially safe to add to an existing pack: nothing it registers can conflict with a machine, occupy a bench, or change an existing recipe.
No structures, no progression
The mod generates no worldgen structures and gates nothing behind exploration. Every set is available as soon as you can afford its materials, so the only progression is your existing ore supply.
Both versions are the same mod
40 recipes on 1.21.1 and 40 on 1.20.1. Nothing was added or removed between builds, so any guide written for either line applies exactly to the other. That is rare enough on this wiki to be worth stating.
The builds are 1.7.6 on NeoForge for 1.21.1 and 1.7.2 on Forge for 1.20.1.
What forty items actually covers
Armour comes in four pieces, so forty items is roughly ten sets. Each set is a complete helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots rather than a partial addition, which is why the item count divides so evenly.
How to choose a set
Since nothing is gated and every recipe costs only materials, the decision is entirely about what you can afford and what each set is for. There is no reason to work through them in order, and no set is a prerequisite for another.
What this mod is not
There is no smithing upgrade path, no trim system, no repair bench and no way to convert one set into another. If you want an armour set to evolve as you progress, this mod does not do that — it gives you ten finished options and lets you pick.
