Immersive Armors Sets: Crafting and What to Expect

guide

This guide covers how Immersive Armors is structured and what its recipe list does and does not include.

A one-to-one mod

40 items and 40 crafting recipes. Every item has exactly one recipe, and every recipe produces exactly one item. There is no alternate route, no bulk conversion and no upgrade path.

For a player that means the wiki's recipe list is the complete mod. Nothing is hidden behind a bench you have not built, because there is no bench.

Ten sets, four pieces each

Armour divides into helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots, so forty items is ten complete sets. The count dividing evenly is a small confirmation that no set is partial — you will not find a mod that adds three pieces and leaves you hunting for the fourth.

No blocks at all

Zero blocks. Nothing is placed, nothing is built, and the mod adds no station of its own. This is worth knowing when planning a base: Immersive Armors needs no room, no power and no infrastructure.

Nothing to unlock

There are no worldgen structures, so no set is locked behind a dungeon, and there is no smithing or upgrade category, so no set is locked behind another. The only constraint is materials.

Identical across versions

Both builds register 40 crafting recipes. The 1.21.1 build is 1.7.6 on NeoForge and the 1.20.1 build is 1.7.2 on Forge, and the content is the same. Any tutorial transfers between them without adjustment.

Where it fits in a pack

A mod that adds only items, registers no blocks, defines no recipe types of its own and generates no terrain is close to conflict-proof. It can be added to a world in progress and removed again with nothing left behind except the items themselves.

That is the practical argument for it in a large modpack: it broadens the armour choices without competing with anything else installed.

What to check first

Read the ingredient list before committing to a set. With no upgrade path between them, choosing an armour here is a one-way spend, and the materials are the only thing separating the ten options.
