Inventory Pets Dungeons: Where Pet Materials Come From
This guide covers the six structures Inventory Pets generates and how they relate to its single crafting list.
Every dungeon is common
The six structures and their placement settings:
- Tree Top — spacing 3, separation 2
- Underground Dungeon — spacing 6, separation 3
- Space Dungeon — spacing 9, separation 6
- Nether Dungeon — spacing 10, separation 5
- Sea Cave — spacing 10, separation 8
- Sky Dungeon — spacing 16, separation 12
For comparison, most mods on this wiki put their common tier around 20 to 26 and their landmarks past 45. Here the rarest structure sits at 16. Nothing in this mod is hard to find.
Coverage is the design, not rarity
The six cover different places rather than different difficulties: treetops, underground, the sky, the Nether, the ocean and space. You are not meant to grind for one — you are meant to be able to reach whichever environment a particular pet's ingredients come from.
Tree Top at a spacing of 3 is the clearest signal. At that density it is not a destination at all; it is scenery that happens to contain loot.
Everything else is one crafting list
107 crafting recipes on 1.21.1 and 113 on 1.20.1 are the mod's entire recipe surface. No furnace step, no bespoke bench, no processing.
That means the dungeons are the only real gate. Once you have the materials, a plain crafting table turns them into pets, and there is no intermediate tier in between.
Six recipes exist only on 1.20.1
The older build carries 113 recipes against 107. If you are following a list of every pet and one refuses to appear, the version is the likely reason.
Eight blocks in the whole mod
131 items against 8 blocks. The blocks are incidental; nothing here is a machine or a station. A pet works from your inventory, which is the mod's entire premise and why it needs almost no blocks to deliver it.
Practical order
Sweep the surface first — Tree Top and Sky Dungeon are the densest and easiest to reach. Save the Nether and space dungeons for when a specific pet needs something from them, since at spacings of 10 and 9 they will be there whenever you go looking.
Versions
2.2.8 on both lines, NeoForge on 1.21.1 and Forge on 1.20.1.
