Item Scroller Keybinds and Modifiers for Moving and Dropping Items
Item Scroller lets you shift items between inventories with the mouse wheel, drag gestures, and modifier keys, and the way each of those actions behaves is decided by a set of keybinds you assign yourself.
Where the keys come from
Every action named below is bound in the game's controls menu. None of them ship with a fixed key, so open the controls menu and assign the sortInventory, recipeView, storeRecipe, massCraft, massCraftToggle, openConfigGui, slotDebug, toggleModOnOff, craftEverything, dropAllMatching, moveCraftResults, throwCraftResults, and villagerTradeFavorites actions to whatever keys suit you. The modifier and drag keys listed further down are bound the same way.
Scroll-moving items
Scrolling over a stack moves items to the opposite inventory. Which quantity moves depends on which scrolling modes you have switched on:
- enableScrollingSingle — one item per scroll step.
- enableScrollingStacks — a whole stack per scroll step.
- enableScrollingMatchingStacks — every stack that matches the one under the cursor.
- enableScrollingEverything — every item in the inventory at once.
- enableScrollingStacksFallback — a fallback path for moving full stacks where a shift-click would not work, such as a vanilla crafting table.
Two modifier keybinds narrow the behaviour further. Holding modifierMoveStack moves the full stack under the cursor, modifierMoveMatching moves all matching stacks, and modifierMoveEverything moves everything. Two settings flip the direction of travel: reverseScrollDirectionSingle for single-item mode and reverseScrollDirectionStacks for full-stack mode. useSlotPositionAwareScrollDirection instead bases direction on where the slots sit vertically on screen.
Drag-moving items
Dragging the cursor across several slots with a bound key held moves items out of each slot you pass over:
- keyDragMoveOne — one item from each stack.
- keyDragMoveStacks — the whole stack from each slot.
- keyDragMoveLeaveOne — everything except one item from each stack.
- keyDragMoveMatching — all matching items across the slots you drag over.
Drag-dropping items
The drop equivalents throw items out of the inventory as you drag:
- keyDragDropSingle — one item from each stack.
- keyDragDropStacks — the entire stack from each slot.
- keyDragDropLeaveOne — all but one item from each stack.
Moving items up and down a single inventory
Separate keybinds shift items within one inventory rather than across two. wsMoveUpSingle, wsMoveUpStacks, wsMoveUpMatching, and wsMoveUpLeaveOne handle upward movement; wsMoveDownSingle, wsMoveDownStacks, wsMoveDownMatching, and wsMoveDownLeaveOne handle downward movement.
Click-based moving and dropping
Clicking a stack while holding keyMoveEverything sends every item to the other inventory. enableShiftPlaceItems makes a shift-click onto an empty slot move all matching stacks, and enableShiftDropItems makes a shift-click drop every matching stack at once. enableDropkeyDropMatching lets the drop hotkey clear all matching items from the same inventory, while dropAllMatching drops every stack identical to the one under the cursor.
Toggling the mod
toggleModOnOff switches all Item Scroller behaviour off or on, and modMainToggle does the same from the settings. The mod reports toggled mod off or toggled mod on when this happens.
