Jaam's Weaponry Crafting Stations and Basic Recipes for Getting Started

guide

Jaam's Weaponry expands Minecraft combat through several crafting stations, each handling a different stage of weapon and firearm production. The mod's recipe set is large, with the Crafting station alone holding 225 recipes, the Smithing Transform holding 100, and Smelting and Blasting each holding 6. Understanding what each station does, and which materials feed into it, is the fastest route to a working arsenal.

The Crafting Station

The Crafting station is where most items begin. It covers weapons, ammunition, and the component parts that later stations rely on. Its recipes use a mix of vanilla materials and mod-specific pieces, so gathering basic resources like sticks, string, copper, and gold early pays off.

Copper is the backbone of the early weapon list. Many blades and blunt weapons are built from copper in several forms: regular Copper Ingot, Double Copper Ingot, and Heavy Copper Ingot. A few representative recipes:

Firearm parts also come from this station. Copper Muzzle is made from two Copper Ingot and one Gold Nugget, while Copper Choke combines two Copper Ingot with a Copper Muzzle. Magazines follow a similar pattern: Copper Extended Magazine takes one Gold Ingot, one Copper Quick Draw Magazine, and one Copper Ingot. Bullet is crafted four at a time from one Gold Nugget, one Gunpowder, and one Gold Ingot.

A few recipes step outside the copper family. Bokken uses two Oak Planks, one String, and one Long Stick. Broom needs two Wheat, one Hay Bale, and two Stick. Compound Bow combines two Short Stick, three String, and one Bow.

The Smithing Transform Station

The Smithing Transform station upgrades existing diamond gear into stronger variants. Each recipe pairs an upgrade smithing template, a diamond weapon, and a metal ingot. The electrum line is the clearest example, using electrum_upgrade_smithing_template alongside a diamond weapon and either electrum_ingot, Double Electrum Ingot, or Heavy Electrum Ingot, depending on the weapon's size and weight.

Lighter weapons such as Dagger, Kama, Katar, Knuckle, Machete, Sickle, Spear, Claw, Cleaver, and Ring each take a single electrum_ingot. Mid-weight weapons including Battle Axe, Broadsword, Butterfly Sword, Greatsword, Hammer, Hook Sword, Katana, Longsword, Saw Cleaver, Scythe, and Shotgun each require a Double Electrum Ingot. The heaviest options, Buster Sword and Greathammer, call for a Heavy Electrum Ingot.

A separate rose gold line exists as well: rosegoldupgradesmithingtemplate combined with a Golden Katar and a rose_gold_ingot produces an upgraded result.

Smelting and Blasting

Smelting and Blasting both serve as recycling and recovery stations, each with 6 recipes. They share the same conversion pattern for copper parts: Copper Choke, Copper Extended Magazine, Copper Muzzle, and Copper Quick Draw Magazine each smelt or blast back into a single Copper Ingot. Ammunition also breaks down this way, with items tagged as bullets and shotshells returning one Gold Nugget each.

Because these two stations mirror each other so closely, either one works when you want to reclaim materials from spent or unwanted copper components and ammunition.
