Crafting with Sinner's Souls and Meteorite Blocks in JCRAFT
This guide explains the core processing chains for Sinner's Souls and Meteorite blocks, leading to the creation of powerful items like the Stand Disc and Green Baby.
Sinner's Soul and the Block of Suffering
The
Sinner's Soul is a foundational material in this mod. You can obtain it through two different crafting methods. The first is a shaped recipe that combines eight
Soul Sand with one
Fermented Spider Eye. Alternatively, you can use a shapeless recipe that converts a single
Block of Suffering back into one
Sinner's Soul.
The
Block of Suffering serves as the storage and bulk form for these souls. To create it, arrange nine
Sinner's Souls in a shapeless crafting grid. This block is not just for storage; it is also a required ingredient in other advanced recipes.
Meteorite Processing
Raw Meteorite material must be refined before it can be used in high-tier crafting. To create a
Polished Meteorite Block, place four
Meteorite Blocks in a 2x2 shaped pattern within the crafting table. This polished variant is the key component for the Stand Disc.
The Stand Disc
The
Stand Disc is a major crafted item that requires a specific shaped arrangement of materials. You will need seven
Polished Meteorite Blocks, one
Stand Arrowhead, and one
Compact Disc. Place the seven polished blocks around the edges of the grid, with the
Stand Arrowhead in the center and the
Compact Disc directly beneath it. This produces a single Stand Disc.
Stellar Iron Block
While not directly part of the Sinner's Soul or Meteorite line, the
Stellar Iron Block is a simple storage item in the same mod. It is crafted shapelessly using nine
Stellar Iron Ingots. This block is useful for compacting your ingots and may be a prerequisite for other recipes.
The Green Baby
The
Green Baby is a powerful and complex creation that combines several of the materials above. Its shaped recipe requires a total of nine items in a specific layout. You will need four
Green Dye, two
Bone Blocks, two Blocks of Suffering, and one
Totem of Undying.
To craft it, place the
Totem of Undying in the center of the grid. Position the two Blocks of Suffering directly above and below the totem. Then, place the two
Bone Blocks to the left and right of the totem. Finally, fill the four corners of the crafting grid with the
Green Dye. This arrangement yields one
Green Baby.
Crafting Strategy
Because the
Block of Suffering is both a crafting ingredient and a reversible storage method for
Sinner's Souls, you should plan your resource flow carefully. For the
Green Baby, you will need to have two Blocks of Suffering on hand, which means you must first accumulate eighteen
Sinner's Souls to craft them. Since a
Block of Suffering can be broken down back into nine souls, you can manage your inventory without losing progress. Similarly, the
Stand Disc demands a significant investment in
Meteorite Blocks, as you will need to polish them before use. Gathering the
Stand Arrowhead and
Compact Disc is also necessary before you begin this particular craft.
