Map Editing

feature

Overview

The Map Editing feature provides tools to control how the game world is recorded and displayed on the fullscreen map. It lets you choose which surfaces to track, such as the Overworld or caves, and whether to map all explored areas or only new ones, with options to improve performance by reducing the revealed area’s shape. You can also apply visual filters for brightness, biomes, elevation, or shadows, and manage map data by deleting it for specific dimensions, though this action is irreversible. Additionally, the feature allows you to adjust level-of-detail rendering when zoomed out and synchronize common settings across different map types.
