Kaleidoscope Tavern Drinks Chain and the Furniture Set

guide

This guide covers how Kaleidoscope Tavern's three stations feed each other and what the rest of its 114 crafting recipes are for.

The chain, by size

Pressing Tub (6) → Barrel (24) → Shaker (12).

Reading the counts as a funnel makes the design legible: a handful of pressed bases, a much larger set of aged results, then a smaller number of mixed finishes. The barrel being four times the tub means most of the mod's variety is created by what you age rather than by what you press.

Crafting is furniture

114 recipes — nearly three times the entire drinks chain. With 72 blocks in the mod, the great majority of that list is the tavern itself: seating, bar fittings, signage and the stations.

If you install this mod for the drinks and ignore the block set, you are using about a quarter of it.

Seventy items

70 items against 72 blocks is as even as this wiki gets. Every drink is an item; every fitting is a block. Nothing here is equipment or a tool.

No dependency, no partner mod needed

All three stations are the mod's own recipe types, so nothing goes inert if you run it alone. That is unusual among food and drink mods, which often lean on Farmer's Delight categories — this one is self-contained.

Identical across versions

1.2.0 on both lines, NeoForge for 1.21.1 and Forge for 1.20.1, with matching counts in all four categories. Any guide transfers between them unchanged.

No structures

The mod generates no worldgen structures, so there is nothing to find and no gate on progression. Every recipe is available from the first crafting table given its ingredients.

Practical order

Build the barrel first so you can see what the mod is aiming at, then the pressing tub to feed it, then the shaker for the finishes. Furnish afterwards — the block set is large enough to be a project of its own.

Why the barrel dominates

Twenty-four barrel recipes against six pressing-tub ones is a four-to-one ratio, and it points at ageing as the mod's variety engine. A small number of pressed bases go in; a much wider range of results comes out. If a drink you want is missing, the barrel is where to look before the shaker.

The mod in numbers

142 pages, 72 blocks, 70 items, 156 recipes, 0 structures — identical on 1.21.1 and 1.20.1 at version 1.2.0.

That balance of blocks to items, almost exactly even, is what separates a tavern mod from a pure food mod: half of it is the room, half is what you serve in it.
