Building a Palm Bar with Stools and Signs in [Let's Do] Beachparty
A palm bar with stools and signs gives any beach build a proper gathering spot, and every piece of it comes from a handful of straightforward crafting recipes. The
Palm Bar is the centerpiece, the
Palm Bar Stool gives guests somewhere to sit, and the
Palm Sign and
Palm Hanging Sign let you label the place or point visitors toward it. A
Tall Palm Torch rounds out the setup with light.
Crafting the Palm Bar
The
Palm Bar is a shaped recipe that consumes seven
Palm Planks. Lay the planks out in the pattern the recipe calls for and you get one bar block. Because it takes only planks, you can craft several bars in a row once you have a stack of palm wood processed, which makes it easy to build a long counter rather than a single standalone block.
Seating with Stools and Chairs
Two seating options work alongside the bar.
Palm Bar Stool: a shaped recipe combining one
White Wool, one
Stick, and
Palm Planks. The stool is the natural match for a bar counter, since it sits at the right height for leaning on the bar top.
Palm Chair: a shaped recipe using three
Sticks, one
White Wool, and two
Palm Planks. Use chairs where you want fuller seating, such as a lounge corner beside the bar.
Both recipes need
White Wool, so keep a supply on hand before you start furnishing. Neither recipe is expensive in planks, so you can seat a whole group without stripping your palm wood stores.
Signs for the Bar
Signs handle naming and direction for your bar.
Palm Sign: a shaped recipe of six
Palm Planks plus one
Stick. This is the standard sign for putting a name over the counter or posting a small menu board.
Palm Hanging Sign: a shaped recipe of two
Chains and six
Stripped Palm Logs. The hanging sign uses stripped logs rather than planks, so strip a few palm logs specifically for this recipe. It suits an entrance, a doorway, or an overhang above the bar.
Note that the two signs draw on different materials: planks for the standard sign, stripped logs and chains for the hanging version. Plan your log stripping accordingly if you want both.
Lighting the Bar
The
Tall Palm Torch is a shaped recipe made from one
Coal and two
Bamboo. It provides light for the bar area. Because it needs bamboo rather than sticks, gather bamboo separately from your palm wood supply before crafting.
Putting It Together
A practical order of work:
- Process palm wood into
Palm Planks and set aside
Stripped Palm Logs for the hanging sign. - Craft the
Palm Bar from seven planks, repeating as needed for the counter length you want. - Craft
Palm Bar Stools for counter seating and
Palm Chairs for any lounge area. - Craft a
Palm Sign for the bar itself and a
Palm Hanging Sign for the entrance or overhang. - Craft Tall Palm Torches from coal and bamboo to light the space.
Everything here is shaped crafting, so the layout of ingredients in the grid matters for each recipe. Keep your wool, sticks, chains, coal, and bamboo gathered in one place before you begin, and the whole bar — counter, seating, signage, and lighting — comes together in a single crafting session.
