Lattices, Shelves, Pots, and Decorative Blocks for Your Vineyard
Overview
This guide covers the decorative and functional blocks available through the Let's Do Vinery mod, focusing on lattices, shelves, pots, and related items that help you build and style a vineyard. Each block has a specific crafting recipe, and all are designed to support grape-growing structures or enhance the visual appeal of your outdoor spaces.
Oak Lattice
The
Oak Lattice is a basic wooden framework block made from oak materials. It is crafted in a shaped pattern using five sticks and one oak plank. This lattice works well as a climbing structure or as a simple fence-like divider between vineyard rows. Its light color fits naturally into most rural or farm-themed builds.
Dark Cherry Lattice
The
Dark Cherry Lattice follows the same recipe shape as the oak version but uses dark cherry planks instead. You will need five sticks and one dark cherry plank. This lattice has a richer, darker tone, making it a good match for builds that use cherry wood accents. Use it to create visual contrast against lighter fences or walls.
Dark Cherry Shelf
The
Dark Cherry Shelf is a storage-style block that can hold small items or act as a display surface. To craft it, arrange three dark cherry slabs in a row and place four iron nuggets around them. The iron nuggets add a sturdy, metallic support detail. This shelf suits indoor pantry areas, outdoor workstations, or anywhere you need a compact place to set tools or decorative pieces.
Flower Box
The
Flower Box is a planter designed for growing flowers or small plants. Its recipe uses three dirt blocks and three dark cherry slabs. The dirt goes inside the wooden frame, giving it a ready-to-plant appearance. Place it on windowsills, fence tops, or along the edge of a patio. It works well for adding color near your grapevines without taking up much ground space.
Grapevine Pot
The
Grapevine Pot is a container block intended for growing grapevines in a controlled way. To craft it, combine two dark cherry slabs and three dark cherry planks. The slabs form the base or rim, while the planks create the main body. This pot is ideal for placing on porches, balconies, or inside greenhouses where you want grapes close at hand. Its dark wood finish matches the other cherry-based blocks in this set.
Window
The
Window block is a decorative pane that adds a colorful, stained-glass look to your buildings. There are two ways to craft it, both producing the same result.
- The first recipe uses four black stained glass panes, two yellow stained glass panes, and three red stained glass panes. Arrange them in a pattern that fills a 3x3 crafting grid.
- The second recipe uses six regular glass panes plus one black dye, one yellow dye, and one red dye. This method lets you color plain glass panes directly during crafting.
The finished window features a mix of dark, warm, and bright colors, making it a strong focal point for a winery facade or a tasting room. Use it in walls, above doors, or as a decorative accent near your lattice and shelf setups.
Building Suggestions
- Combine
Oak Lattice and
Dark Cherry Lattice to create alternating patterns along a fence line. - Place Flower Boxes under windows that use the
Window block to tie the exterior design together. - Set
Grapevine Pots on Dark Cherry Shelves to create a layered display of greenery and storage. - Use the
Window block sparingly, as its bold colors work best as an accent rather than a full wall.
All these blocks share a cohesive wood-and-glass style, so they mix easily with each other and with standard vineyard structures. Craft them in batches to keep a consistent look across your entire build.
