Vending Machines, Bookshelf Traders, Auction Stands, and Card Displays for Selling
Vending machines, bookshelf traders, auction stands, and card displays are the core selling blocks in Lightman's Currency, and each one is crafted around a
Trading Core. This guide covers the recipes for the white vending machines, the dark oak trader and auction blocks, the dark oak card display, and the armor display.
Vending Machines
The
White Vending Machine is built from a shaped recipe: four
Iron Ingot, two colorless glass blocks, two wooden chests, and one
Trading Core. If you already have a
Light Gray Vending Machine, you can convert it instead with a shapeless recipe that combines it with a
Water Bucket.
The
Large White Vending Machine follows the same two-path pattern. The shapeless route takes a
Large Light Gray Vending Machine plus a
Water Bucket. The shaped route uses four
Iron Ingot, two colorless glass blocks, two wooden chests, and a
White Vending Machine in place of the
Trading Core. Note that the large version is built from the standard white machine rather than directly from a core.
Bookshelf Trader
The
Dark Oak Bookshelf Trader uses a shaped recipe of six
Dark Oak Planks, two
Dark Oak Slab, and one
Trading Core. It is the only bookshelf trader recipe listed here, and it is specific to the dark oak wood type.
Auction Stand
The
Dark Oak Auction Stand has a compact shaped recipe: one colorless glass block, one
Trading Core, and one
Dark Oak Log. With only three ingredients, it is the simplest of the selling blocks to assemble.
Card Display
The
Dark Oak Card Display is crafted with a shaped recipe of one
Red Wool, one
Trading Core, three
Dark Oak Log, and one wooden chest. The red wool distinguishes it from the auction stand recipe, which also uses dark oak logs and a core.
Armor Display
The
Armor Display is made with a shaped recipe: five colorless glass blocks, one
Armor Stand, two
Iron Ingot, and one
Trading Core. It shares the glass-and-iron theme of the vending machines but substitutes an
Armor Stand for the chests.
Recipe Patterns at a Glance
A few patterns run across these recipes:
- Every block on this page requires exactly one
Trading Core, except the
Large White Vending Machine when crafted the shaped way, which consumes a
White Vending Machine instead. - Colorless glass blocks appear in the
White Vending Machine,
Large White Vending Machine,
Dark Oak Auction Stand, and
Armor Display. - Wooden chests appear in the
White Vending Machine,
Large White Vending Machine, and
Dark Oak Card Display. - Iron ingots appear in the
White Vending Machine,
Large White Vending Machine, and
Armor Display. - The dark oak family covers three separate blocks: the
Dark Oak Bookshelf Trader, the
Dark Oak Auction Stand, and the
Dark Oak Card Display. - The two vending machines are the only blocks here with a shapeless conversion recipe involving a
Water Bucket.
Picking the Right Block
If you want a straightforward three-ingredient build, the
Dark Oak Auction Stand is the lightest recipe. If you need an armor-focused showcase, the
Armor Display pairs an
Armor Stand with glass and iron. For a wood-themed selling setup, the
Dark Oak Bookshelf Trader and
Dark Oak Card Display both use dark oak materials, with the card display adding
Red Wool and a chest. The
White Vending Machine and
Large White Vending Machine give you a glass-and-iron look, and the large variant can be reached either by crafting from scratch or by upgrading a light gray large machine with a
Water Bucket.
