Trainers seeking to reconstruct the ancient ancestor Mew or clone its genetically engineered counterpart Mewtwo must recover preserved biological material, prepare specialized catalytic agents, and conduct targeted restoration procedures at dedicated shrine installations.

The Dual Restoration Paths

LumyMon provides two distinct avenues for genetic recovery, each culminating in a different legendary manifestation:

Ancient DNA serves as the foundational biological sample. It can be paired with a Cloning Catalyst inside a Resurrection Machine to synthesize Mewtwo, or combined with fossil fragments at a crafting table to construct an Origin Fossil.
The Origin Fossil stores consolidated genomic data required to awaken Mew in its natural state when presented at a Mew Shrine.

Choosing between these branches determines whether you proceed through mechanized laboratory cloning or spiritual ancestral revival.

Synthesizing Mewtwo with Ancient DNA

To pursue the cloning branch, trainers must secure Ancient DNA alongside a chemical activator known as the Cloning Catalyst. A rare variant, the Radiant Cloning Catalyst, provides an alternate catalytic medium for the process.

Within the Resurrection Machine, inserting Ancient DNA in combination with the Cloning Catalyst triggers the artificial development cycle that generates Mewtwo. Once revived, this cloned psychic powerhouse can be further customized through cybernetic enhancements, including equipping Rocket Armor directly onto Mewtwo to unlock its armored form and combat output.

Crafting the Origin Fossil

Trainers who prefer to awaken Mew rather than clone its synthetic offspring must stabilize Ancient DNA into an Origin Fossil. This recipe requires five preserved prehistoric fossils and an ancient capture sphere:

One Ancient Origin Ball

One Ancient DNA

Arrange the ingredients across the crafting grid:

Place the Ancient Origin Ball in the top-center slot, leaving the top-left and top-right slots empty.
Fill the entire middle row with three Fossils.
Place one Fossil in the bottom-left slot, the Ancient DNA in the bottom-center slot, and one Fossil in the bottom-right slot.

The recipe accepts any recognized prehistoric specimen, including Helix Fossil, Dome Fossil, Old Amber Fossil, Root Fossil, Claw Fossil, Skull Fossil, Armor Fossil, Cover Fossil, Plume Fossil, Jaw Fossil, Sail Fossil, Fossilized Bird, Fossilized Fish, Fossilized Drake, or Fossilized Dino.
