Macaw's Bridges adds a variety of bridges, bridge stairs, and piers that fit naturally into vanilla-style builds. The mod's models have been improved to blend even better with standard Minecraft architecture, and bridges can be lighted with torches. This guide covers the crafting and stonecutting recipes available for the bridge blocks listed below.

Crafting Basics

The crafting system contains 188 recipes in total. Most bridge blocks follow a similar pattern: combine a wall or fence with slabs to produce the bridge, then convert between the bridge and its stair variant as needed.

Lighting and Tools

Bridges can be lighted with torches, and the mod provides dedicated light blocks for that purpose.

Bridge Lantern: Lantern x2
Bridge Torch: Torch x2
Pliers: Iron Nugget x3 + Iron Ingot x2

The Pliers are crafted from Iron Nugget and Iron Ingot, while Bridge Lantern and Bridge Torch each take two of their base light source.

Picking a Material

Start with the material you already build in. If you have Andesite on hand, a stonecutter turns it directly into Andesite Bridge, Andesite Bridge Pier, Andesite Bridge Stair, or Balustrade Andesite Bridge. Wood builders can combine Acacia Fence and Acacia Slab for Acacia Bridge, then craft Acacia Bridge Stair from six bridges. Add Acacia Bridge Support underneath with Acacia Log and Acacia Fence, or swap in Acacia Rail Bridge using four fences and a slab. For a colored option, Asian Red Bridge uses Oak Fence, Red Dye, and Oak Slab, with Asian Red Bridge Pier built from Red Dye, Dark Oak Log, and Oak Fence.
