Crafting Tools and Weapons Across All Metal Tiers in MITE: Equilibrium
Overview
This guide covers the three weapon types and the pickaxe progression available across the metal tiers in MITE: Equilibrium. The tiers, from lowest to highest, are Copper, Silver, Gold, Iron, Mithril, and Adamantium. Each weapon type—Sword, Dagger, and Hammer—exists at multiple tiers, while pickaxes follow the same material progression.
Weapon Types and Their Roles
Three weapon types are available, each with distinct combat characteristics.
- Sword: Offers a longer attack reach than other melee options, making it useful for keeping distance from enemies.
- Dagger (Short Sword): Swings faster than a sword and deals 1.5x damage to passive mobs, making it effective for hunting animals.
- Hammer: A heavy weapon that deals 1.5x damage to skeletons, giving it a specialized role against those undead foes.
Metal Tier Progression
The material progression is Copper / Silver / Gold → Iron → Mithril → Adamantium. Each tier generally improves durability and damage output, but the crafting requirements and available workstations change at higher levels.
Copper and Silver
Copper and Silver are early-tier materials. Silver weapons have a notable advantage: they deal 1.25x damage to all undead, and a kill grants 5 seconds of Regeneration II. This makes silver excellent against zombies, skeletons, and Underworld undead. Silver is also a solid mid-game choice for both weapons and tools due to its good durability.
Iron
Iron sits between the early metals and the advanced alloys. It is not described with special combat bonuses, but it serves as the standard mid-tier material before moving to Mithril.
Mithril
Mithril-tier equipment provides a significant boost to both damage and durability compared to earlier metals. Crafting Mithril items requires a Diamond Crafting Table, marking a clear step up in both material quality and crafting infrastructure.
Adamantium
Adamantium is the highest tier described. It offers extremely high durability. Crafting Adamantium items requires a Netherite Crafting Table, the most advanced workstation mentioned.
Pickaxe Crafting Recipes
Pickaxes follow the same material progression as weapons. All recipes use a shaped pattern of three ingots and two sticks.
Copper Pickaxe: 3 Copper Ingots + 2 Sticks → 1 Copper Pickaxe
Silver Pickaxe: 3 Silver Ingots + 2 Sticks → 1 Silver Pickaxe
Mithril Pickaxe: 3 Mithril Ingots + 2 Sticks → 1 Mithril Pickaxe
Note that no recipe is listed for Iron, Gold, or Adamantium pickaxes, but the pattern for the listed tiers is consistent.
Sword Crafting Recipes
Swords use a shaped pattern of two ingots and one stick.
Copper Sword: 2 Copper Ingots + 1 Stick → 1 Copper Sword
Silver Sword: 2 Silver Ingots + 1 Stick → 1 Silver Sword
Additional Considerations
When choosing your equipment, consider the target enemy type. Use a hammer against skeletons, a dagger for passive mob farming, and a sword for general reach. Silver is the go-to choice for any undead-heavy area, especially the Underworld. For raw durability and damage, progress to Mithril and then Adamantium as soon as your crafting tables allow.
Beyond weapons and tools, you may also explore armor sets and rare special items, which are separate equipment categories not covered in this guide.
