Forging Tidesinger Aquatic Armor in Mythic Metals
Tidesinger Armor is the premier aquatic armor set in Mythic Metals, granting supreme underwater agility, enhanced swim speed, and vibrant coral aesthetics. Smiths create this gear by infusing ocean-forged Aquarium equipment with living coral varieties.
Forging the Aquarium Base Tier
Creating Tidesinger gear requires a full suit of Aquarium armor as the base equipment. Aquarium ore deposits generate beneath ocean floors, yielding
Raw Aquarium when mined:
- Smelting two
Raw Aquarium chunks in an Alloy Forge yields three
Aquarium Ingot items. - Assemble a full set of base protective gear on a crafting bench:
Aquarium Helmet (five ingots),
Aquarium Chestplate (eight ingots),
Aquarium Leggings (seven ingots), and
Aquarium Boots (four ingots). - Matching weapons and tools include
Aquarium Sword,
Aquarium Axe,
Aquarium Pickaxe,
Aquarium Shovel, and
Aquarium Hoe.
Aquarium gear provides foundational water affinity, but requires coral smithing to reach its true potential.
Crafting the Tidesinger Smithing Template
Transforming Aquarium gear requires a specialized
Crafted Smithing Template:
- Place one
Prismarine block in the center slot of a crafting table. - Insert one
Aquarium Ingot in the top central slot. - Flank the center with two
Aquarium Pearl items on the left and right. - Place all five living coral plants across the remaining perimeter slots:
Brain Coral,
Bubble Coral,
Tube Coral,
Fire Coral, and
Horn Coral. - This shaped recipe yields two
Crafted Smithing Template items for Tidesinger upgrades. - Duplication: Combine one template with one
Prismarine, one
Aquarium Pearl, and six
Aquarium Ingot items to yield two templates.
The Tidesinger Smithing Transform
Transformations occur inside the vanilla smithing table:
- Insert the
Crafted Smithing Template in the template slot. - Place a piece of Aquarium equipment (
Aquarium Helmet,
Aquarium Chestplate,
Aquarium Leggings,
Aquarium Boots, or Aquarium tools) in the base slot. - Insert a plant-able coral item into the additions slot:
Brain Coral,
Bubble Coral,
Fire Coral,
Horn Coral, or
Tube Coral.
The addition of coral infuses the metal with marine life, producing the finished armor piece:
Tidesinger Helmet,
Tidesinger Chestplate,
Tidesinger Leggings, or
Tidesinger Boots.
Coral Variants and Marine Combat
The specific coral species inserted during smithing determines the visual pattern and accents of the armor:
- Brain Coral Variant: Displays elegant pink coral ridges across armor trim.
- Bubble Coral Variant: Embellishes the plates with rich purple aquatic hues.
- Fire Coral Variant: Adorns the armor with vibrant scarlet trim.
- Horn Coral Variant: Yields brilliant yellow oceanic motifs.
- Tube Coral Variant: Crafts deep azure plating matching ocean depths.
Beyond armor, transforming weapons yields the
Tidesinger Blade and
Tidesinger Axe, which grant the riptide aquatic mobility ability, allowing warriors to surge swiftly through ocean depths during combat.
