Nether's Exoticism: Exotic Fruits of the Nether
Nether's Exoticism adds five real-world exotic fruits to the Nether, one for each nether biome, each with its own effect. This guide covers them.
The five fruits
Each nether biome hosts a different fruit, and eating it grants a matching effect:
Jabuticaba — spawns in Basalt Deltas, gives a Cure effect.
Kiwano — spawns in the Warped Forest, gives Fire Resistance.
Rambutan — spawns in the Nether Wastes, gives Regeneration.- Buddha's Hand — spawns in the Soul Sand Valley, gives Night Vision.
- Pitaya — spawns in the Crimson Forest.
Using the fruits
You can eat the fruits directly for their effects, making them valuable finds for a Nether expedition — fire resistance and regeneration in particular are exactly what the dimension calls for. The fruits can also be used in further recipes beyond eating them raw.
Getting started
Explore each nether biome to gather its fruit, and carry them for their effects while adventuring. Because each biome yields a different fruit, a thorough sweep of the Nether builds a full set of useful consumables for survival in the dimension and beyond.
