Numismatic Overhaul: A Currency System in Seven Pages
Numismatic Overhaul replaces emerald-based trading with a coin currency. This guide covers what it registers and why the list is so short.
Four items, three blocks, two recipes
The whole mod is 7 pages: 4 items and 3 blocks, with 2 crafting recipes on each version and no other recipe category at all.
For a mod that changes how an entire economy works, that is remarkably little to register — and it is the clearest signal of what kind of mod this is. The content is a system, not a catalogue.
The four items are the currency
A coin-based economy needs denominations, and four items is what that takes. They are not equipment and not ingredients for anything else; they exist to be spent.
The three blocks are the infrastructure around them — the places you store, exchange or handle currency rather than things you build with.
Only two recipes
Two crafting recipes in a seven-page mod means almost nothing here is crafted. Currency is earned rather than made, which is the point: a coin you can craft is not a currency, it is a resource.
If you install this expecting a crafting chain, there isn't one. The mod's depth is in trading and pricing, neither of which appears in a recipe list.
No worldgen
The mod generates no structures, so there is nothing to find and nothing gated behind exploration.
Both builds are Fabric
Unusually for this wiki, both versions run on the same loader: 0.3.5 for 1.21.1 and 0.2.18 for 1.20.1, both on Fabric. There is no Forge or NeoForge build in this line, so a Forge pack cannot include it.
Both register the same 2 recipes, so nothing about the content differs between them.
What it does to a pack
Because the mod redefines villager trading, its effect scales with how much of your pack relies on villagers. In a pack built around trading halls the change is sweeping; in one that ignores villagers it is nearly invisible.
That is worth thinking about before installing. The mod's footprint in the registry is tiny, but its footprint on play can be large, and the two are unrelated.
