Nine blocks for every item
953 blocks against 99 items across 1,052 pages. That near ten-to-one ratio is the signature of a biome mod: the content is terrain, wood sets and plants, and items appear only where a plant produces something you carry.
Crafting carries the wood sets
650 crafting recipes on 1.21.1, 613 on 1.20.1. Wood behaves as it does in vanilla — log to planks, planks to the usual family of stairs, slabs, fences, doors and signs — so each new tree multiplies into a dozen or more recipes.
That repetition is where the count comes from, and it means learning one wood set teaches you all of them.
Stonecutting covers the stone
139 recipes on 1.21.1, 136 on 1.20.1. That is a modest number against 953 blocks, which tells you most of the palette is wood rather than stone — the cutter helps with the rock variants but is not the main route here, unlike in a dedicated decoration mod.
Cooking is small and specific
20 smelting recipes on both builds and 3 each for campfire cooking and smoking. The handful of foods come from the mod's plants rather than from any farming system.
The version gap is about 40 recipes
Crafting is the only category that meaningfully differs — 650 against 613. Stonecutting differs by three, and the cooking categories are identical. A build designed on 1.21.1 is very likely reproducible on 1.20.1.
Structures shape how the blocks are found
The mod's 18 structures matter to builders for a specific reason: several are terrain features rather than buildings. The Ironwood Gour Plateau at a spacing of 4, the Dripstone and Lush Arches at 8, and Sharpened Rock at 12 are landscape, and they are where a biome's stone palette shows up in place before you ever mine it.
Practical advice
Travel to collect wood, not to collect recipes. With nine blocks per item and wood sets making up most of the catalogue, the constraint on building with this mod is having visited the biome — not having unlocked anything.
