Finding Jujutsu Craft Structures and Their Loot

guide

This guide explains where to locate the key structures added by the Jujutsu Craft (Sorcery Fight) mod and what you can expect to find inside them.

All six major structures share the same list of allowed biomes. You can find them in most temperate and forested areas, including plains, sunflower plains, snowy plains, birch forests, dark forests, flower forests, old growth birch forests, and regular forests. They also appear in savannas, savanna plateaus, cherry groves, groves, meadows, swamps, mangrove swamps, taigas, old growth pine and spruce taigas, sparse jungles, and the crimson and warped forests of the Nether. The structures are not limited to the Overworld, so exploring the Nether’s fungal forests can also yield results.

Gymnasium

The Gymnasium is the most common major structure. It attempts to generate once per 150 by 150 chunk region, with a minimum spacing of 130 chunks between instances. Because of this relatively tight spacing, you are likely to encounter one fairly early in your exploration. Inside, you will typically find training-related equipment and supplies useful for practicing combat techniques.

House Zenin

The House Zenin is a rare and important structure. It attempts to generate once per 256 by 256 chunk region, and instances must be at least 80 chunks apart. This large building is tied to one of the prominent clans in the mod’s setting. Searching it thoroughly is worthwhile, as it often contains unique items and equipment associated with the Zenin family’s fighting style.

Kumiya Atelier

The Kumiya Atelier has the highest density of all the structures. It attempts to generate once per 66 by 66 chunk region, with a minimum distance of 57 chunks between instances. This makes it the easiest structure to stumble upon while traveling. The atelier is a workshop, so you can expect to find crafting materials and components that are useful for creating cursed tools or other equipment.

Parking

The Parking structure attempts to generate once per 100 by 100 chunk region, with a minimum spacing of 50 chunks between instances. It is moderately common. While it may look like an ordinary lot, it can contain storage and other useful resources. Check any vehicles or containers you find there, as they may hold practical supplies.

Reformatory

The Reformatory is a rarer structure, attempting to generate once per 96 by 96 chunk region, with a minimum spacing of 80 chunks. This building is more isolated and may be harder to locate than the Gymnasium or Parking. It is worth the search, as it can contain items related to confinement or correction, which may tie into specific gameplay mechanics.

School 1

School 1 is the rarest structure in the mod. It attempts to generate once per 256 by 256 chunk region, and instances must be at least 200 chunks apart. Because of this extreme spacing, you will need to travel very far to find one. This is likely the most significant location, serving as a central hub for the mod’s content. It contains valuable loot and may be the key to progressing further in the mod’s features.

General Search Tips

Since all structures share the same biome list, your search strategy is the same for each. Focus on exploring large stretches of the listed biomes rather than hopping between different biome types. Use the spacing information to estimate how far you need to travel. For example, after finding a Gymnasium, you know the next one will be at least 130 chunks away, so you can move efficiently without backtracking. For the rarer structures like School 1, plan long expeditions, as you may need to cover hundreds of chunks before finding one.
