Finding Jujutsu Craft’s Villages, Temples, and Major Landmarks

guide

Overview

This guide explains where and how the major generated landmarks from Jujutsu Craft (Sorcery Fight) appear in your world. These structures include shopping streets, temple towers, two distinct villages, wooden temples, and a modified mineshaft. Knowing their spawn rules helps you plan exploration efficiently.

Common Biome Range

All five custom structures share the same list of acceptable biomes. You can find them in plains, snowy plains, sunflower plains, birch forests, crimson forests, dark forests, flower forests, forests, old growth birch forests, warped forests, windswept forests, savannas, savanna plateaus, cherry groves, groves, mangrove swamps, meadows, old growth pine taigas, old growth spruce taigas, sparse jungles, swamps, and taigas. If you are in any of these biomes, you have a chance to encounter one of the landmarks. Note that crimson forests and warped forests are included, so nether-like biomes are also valid targets.

Shopping Street

The Shopping Street is a landmark that generates in all listed biomes. The mod attempts to place one per 128x128 chunk region, and each successful placement must be at least 96 chunks away from another Shopping Street. This means they are fairly spaced out. When exploring, check large flat areas in the listed biomes, as the structure is likely to appear in open terrain.

Temple Tower

The Temple Tower is another major structure. It also generates in all listed biomes. Placement attempts happen once per 144x144 chunk region, with a minimum distance of 125 chunks between towers. This makes Temple Towers rarer and more isolated than Shopping Streets. Look for tall, vertical silhouettes on the horizon, especially in forest or plains biomes.

Village Heian

Village Heian is a full village-style landmark. It generates in all listed biomes. The mod attempts one placement per 101x101 chunk region, and each village must be at least 67 chunks apart. Because the minimum distance is smaller than the region size, you may find several Heian villages in a broad area. They resemble traditional Japanese-era settlements, so look for clustered buildings with distinct roofing.

Village Heisei

Village Heisei is a second village type, likely representing a more modern era. It also appears in all listed biomes. Placement is attempted once per 109x109 chunk region, with a minimum separation of 75 chunks. Heisei villages are slightly rarer than Heian villages due to the larger region size. When scouting, look for denser, more contemporary building layouts.

Wooden Temple

The Wooden Temple is a smaller or more rustic structure. It generates in all listed biomes as well. The mod attempts one placement per 96x96 chunk region, and each temple must be at least 80 chunks apart. This gives it a moderate spawn frequency. Wooden Temples are likely easier to spot in forested biomes where the material blends with the environment, so watch for clearings or path-like openings.

Modified Mineshaft

The mod also replaces the vanilla mineshaft structure with its own version. This means that wherever a standard mineshaft would generate, you will instead find the Jujutsu Craft variant. Since vanilla mineshafts appear underground in many biomes, you will encounter this replacement frequently during caving or strip mining. The exact layout and contents are not specified here, but you should expect it to differ from the original.

Exploration Tips

  • Because all structures share the same biome list, your best strategy is to travel through the listed biomes and use the chunk-region spacing to estimate distances.
  • The large minimum distances for Temple Towers mean you should travel in straight lines for long stretches before turning.
  • For villages, the smaller separation values suggest you can find multiple in a single extended journey.
  • Always carry food and torches, as some landmarks may have interior areas or spawn hostile mobs.
