Jujutsu Craft Biomes and Structures Guide
Added Biome: Cursed Spirit Manipulation
The mod introduces a single new biome called Cursed Spirit Manipulation. This biome is defined by a cold, snowy climate with a temperature of zero. It never experiences rain, making it a consistently frozen environment. When exploring this biome, expect snow-covered terrain and weather conditions that match its arctic nature.
Replaced Structures
The mod adds several structures that generate in existing vanilla biomes. These structures do not create new biomes but instead appear within the standard world generation.
Broken House 1
Broken House 1 is a structure that generates exclusively in desert biomes. Its placement is highly restricted: the world attempts to generate it once per 64x64 chunk region, and any two instances of this structure must be at least 48 chunks apart. This means you will find it rarely, and only in sandy desert landscapes.
Gate 1
Gate 1 is a structure that appears across a wide range of temperate and forested biomes. Its valid spawning biomes include:
- Plains, snowy plains, and sunflower plains
- Birch forests, old growth birch forests, and dark forests
- Flower forests, forests, and windswept forests
- Crimson forests and warped forests
- Savannas and savanna plateaus
- Cherry groves and groves
- Mangrove swamps and swamps
- Meadows
- Old growth pine taigas and old growth spruce taigas
- Sparse jungles and taigas
The generation rule for Gate 1 is one attempt per 96x96 chunk region, with a minimum distance of 80 chunks between separate instances. Because of this large spacing, encountering one requires extensive travel.
Graveyard 1, 2, and 3
The mod includes three graveyard variants: Graveyard 1, Graveyard 2, and Graveyard 3. All three share the same list of valid biomes as Gate 1. That list includes plains, snowy plains, sunflower plains, birch forests, crimson forests, dark forests, flower forests, forests, old growth birch forests, warped forests, windswept forests, savannas, savanna plateaus, cherry groves, groves, mangrove swamps, meadows, old growth pine taigas, old growth spruce taigas, sparse jungles, swamps, and taigas.
The placement rules differ slightly between the graveyard variants:
- Graveyard 1 and Graveyard 2 each generate with one attempt per 96x96 chunk region, and instances must be at least 80 chunks apart.
- Graveyard 3 generates more frequently: one attempt per 48x48 chunk region, with a minimum distance of 24 chunks between instances.
This makes Graveyard 3 the most common of the three graveyard structures, while Graveyard 1 and Graveyard 2 are rarer and more spread out.
Practical Exploration Notes
When searching for these structures, remember that the spacing rules apply to each structure type individually. Two different structure types (for example, a Gate 1 and a Graveyard 1) can generate closer together than two instances of the same type. Since all structures except Broken House 1 share similar biome preferences, you are most likely to find them in mixed forest and plains regions. For desert-only exploration, focus solely on Broken House 1. Given the large chunk distances required, use a fast travel method or explore systematically to locate these rare additions.
