Finding Temple Doma, Swamp and Yukaku Villages, and the Mugen Castle Area

guide

This guide covers the rare Temple Doma, the two special villages, and the Mugen Castle area in the Kimetsu no Yaiba mod.

The Shared Biomes

All four structures share the same set of possible biomes. You can find them in plains, snowy plains, sunflower plains, birch forests, dark forests, flower forests, forests, windswept forests, jungles, savannas, savanna plateaus, snowy taigas, and taigas. If you are exploring any of these biomes, you have a chance to stumble upon one of these rare locations.

Temple Doma

Temple Doma is the rarest of the group. The mod makes one attempt to generate it within every 160x160 chunk region. This means you will need to travel a long distance to find one. Additionally, any two Temple Doma structures will never be closer than 80 chunks apart. Because of this, your best strategy is to pick a direction and travel in a straight line for a very long time. Do not expect to find this temple quickly; it requires patience and extensive exploration. When you do locate it, it stands out as a distinct structure in the landscape.

Village Swamp

Village Swamp is a special village variant. Generation attempts happen once per 240x240 chunk region, and two of these villages will always be at least 120 chunks apart. This makes them much rarer than standard villages. You will not find them near your spawn point. You need to cover a lot of ground. Because the placement is tied to large chunk regions, searching in a grid pattern or simply wandering across the correct biomes is your best bet. When you find one, you will notice it has a swamp-themed design, different from a regular village.

Village Yukaku

Village Yukaku follows the exact same placement rules as Village Swamp. It has one generation attempt per 240x240 chunk region, and a minimum distance of 120 chunks between two of them. Like the Swamp village, this is a rare find. You will need to explore far from your starting area. The structure itself has a distinct appearance that separates it from the Swamp village and from normal villages. Be prepared to search through many of the listed biomes before you see one.

The Mugen Castle Area

The Mugen Castle area is tied to a special biome. This biome is hot, with a temperature value of 1. It also has no rain. This means the area will feel like a dry, warm climate. Because it is a biome, you will encounter it as you explore the world. When you enter a region that is hot and has no precipitation, you are likely in the Mugen Biome. This is where you will find the Mugen Castle area. Keep an eye out for this climate change while you are searching for the other structures.

Exploration Tips

  • Stock up: Bring plenty of food, torches, and building blocks. You will be traveling thousands of blocks.
  • Use the map: If you have a map, mark where you have already searched. This will prevent you from going in circles.
  • Travel by day: The mod adds dangerous demons. Traveling at night is much more risky.
  • Be patient: These structures are intentionally rare. Finding them all will take many hours of gameplay.

In summary, your search will take you across the listed temperate and cold biomes. Temple Doma is the hardest to find, while the two villages are slightly more common but still rare. The Mugen Castle area is found by looking for a hot, dry biome. Good luck with your search.
