Finding Every Demon Slayer House, Village, and Special Structure
This guide covers where to locate every house, village, and special structure added by the Kimetsu no Yaiba mod, including their required biomes and spawn spacing.
Graveyard
The Graveyard is a common special structure that appears in most temperate and forested overworld biomes. You can find it in plains, snowy plains, sunflower plains, birch forest, dark forest, flower forest, forest, windswept forest, jungle, savanna, savanna plateau, snowy taiga, and taiga. The mod attempts to generate one graveyard per 100x100 chunk region, and each graveyard will be placed at least 50 chunks away from another graveyard. This makes them relatively frequent, so exploring any of these biomes over a moderate distance should reveal one.
House A
House A shares the exact same biome list and placement rules as the Graveyard. It generates in plains, snowy plains, sunflower plains, birch forest, dark forest, flower forest, forest, windswept forest, jungle, savanna, savanna plateau, snowy taiga, and taiga. Like the graveyard, there is one attempt per 100x100 chunk region, with a minimum distance of 50 chunks between instances. Because they share the same spawn conditions, you may find a Graveyard and a House A relatively close to each other, but not overlapping.
House Kocho
House Kocho has a slightly narrower biome range than the Graveyard or House A. It will not generate in snowy plains or snowy taiga. Instead, look for it in plains, sunflower plains, birch forest, dark forest, flower forest, forest, windswept forest, jungle, savanna, savanna plateau, and taiga. Its placement is rarer: the mod attempts one house per 160x160 chunk region, and each House Kocho must be at least 80 chunks from another. This means you will need to travel much farther to find this structure, so focus your search on the listed non-snowy biomes.
House Rengoku
House Rengoku follows the same rules as House Kocho. It generates in plains, sunflower plains, birch forest, dark forest, flower forest, forest, windswept forest, jungle, savanna, savanna plateau, and taiga. It also uses the rarer 160x160 chunk region attempt with an 80-chunk minimum separation. Since both House Kocho and House Rengoku are rare and share biomes, you may need to explore several thousand blocks in any direction to locate either one. Prioritize large, continuous stretches of the listed biomes for the best chance.
House Rui and House Rui Brother
House Rui and House Rui Brother are unique because they do not spawn in standard overworld biomes. Both structures generate exclusively in the mod’s custom biome, `kimetsunoyaiba:mt_natagumo` (Mount Natagumo). You will need to find this special biome, which is not part of the vanilla Minecraft world generation. Once you are inside the Mount Natagumo biome, both houses use the same placement pattern as the Graveyard and House A: one attempt per 100x100 chunk region, with at least 50 chunks between each structure. Because they are limited to this single biome, your search area is much smaller, but you must first locate the biome itself.
General Tips for Searching
- For the common structures (Graveyard, House A), explore in straight lines across the listed biomes. The 50-chunk minimum means you should encounter one within a few thousand blocks of travel.
- For the rare houses (Kocho, Rengoku), be prepared for long journeys. The 80-chunk separation and 160x160 region attempt make them sparse; using a fast travel method or checking multiple directions is advised.
- For the Mount Natagumo houses, your first goal is to find the biome. Once there, search thoroughly, as both houses can be anywhere within the biome’s boundaries.
- Remember that structure attempts are per chunk region, not guaranteed spawns. Terrain, caves, or other world generation may prevent a structure from appearing even if the region is eligible.
