Crafting Every Demon Slayer Uniform, Haori, and Decorative Armor

guide

This guide covers the crafting recipes for every slayer uniform, haori, and decorative armor set in the Kimetsu no Yaiba mod. All recipes require Scarlet Ore and Scarlet Iron Sand as base materials, so gather those first.

Base Uniform and Hakama

The foundation for all character-specific outfits is the standard Uniform. To craft it, use a shaped recipe with Scarlet Ore and Scarlet Iron Sand. Arrange eight Scarlet Ore around the perimeter of the crafting grid, leaving the center slot empty, and place one Scarlet Iron Sand in the center. This produces the plain uniform.

For the matching lower garment, the Hakama, use a shaped recipe with seven Scarlet Ore and two Scarlet Iron Sand. Place the Scarlet Ore in a “U” shape covering the top row and the two side slots of the middle row, leaving the bottom row empty. Fill the two remaining middle-row slots with Scarlet Iron Sand. This yields the standard hakama.

Character-Specific Uniforms

Each named character uniform is created by combining the base Uniform with that character’s Haori in a shapeless recipe. This means the order of items in the crafting grid does not matter—just place the Uniform and the correct Haori together.

These recipes consume both the Uniform and the Haori to produce the finished character uniform. You cannot revert them back into separate pieces.

Haori as Decorative Armor

The Haori items themselves—Tanjiro's Haori, Zenitsu's Haori, Tomioka's Haori, and Rengoku's Haori—can be worn directly as decorative armor. They are not crafted from other components; they exist as standalone armor pieces. Wearing a Haori over your standard armor gives your character the visual appearance of that Demon Slayer without changing your base Uniform.

If you want to wear a Haori as a cosmetic layer, simply equip it in the appropriate armor slot. It will display over your chest armor. This is useful if you prefer the look of a specific character’s outer garment but do not want to commit to the full character uniform.

Practical Crafting Notes

  • Scarlet Ore and Scarlet Iron Sand are the only two materials used in all these recipes. There are no alternate ingredients or substitutes.
  • The shaped recipes for Uniform and Hakama require exact placement. The shapeless recipes for character uniforms do not.
  • Each character uniform requires its own Haori. You cannot use one Haori to make multiple uniforms—the Haori is consumed in the crafting process.
  • Decorative armor pieces, such as the Haori, do not provide any special combat stats beyond what the mod assigns to them. They are primarily for visual customization.

Summary Checklist

To craft every uniform and haori set, you will need:

Start by mining Scarlet Ore and processing it with Scarlet Iron Sand to build your base Uniform and Hakama. Then decide which character look you want—craft the matching Haori if you do not already have it, and combine it with a spare Uniform to make the full character set.
