Core Crafting Stations and How to Begin Crafting Furniture
The core crafting stations in Paladin's Furniture Mod are the Wood Working Table, the 
Furniture Workbench, and the Simple Furniture station, and they form the path from raw materials to finished furniture. Understanding what each station does and how to build it is the first step before any furniture project.
Building the Wood Working Table
The Wood Working Table is your entry point. Craft it on a vanilla crafting table using eight wood planks of any type plus one iron ingot. Once placed, it behaves like an ordinary crafting table, with one key difference: furniture recipes can be crafted on it.
The Furniture Workbench
The Furniture Workbench is crafted on the Wood Working Table from eight oak planks and one iron ingot. This makes it the second station in the progression — you cannot make it until the Wood Working Table exists.
What the Crafting Station Offers
The crafting station holds 23 recipes in total. Beyond the Furniture Workbench, its recipes fall into a few groups:
- Dye Kits — each one combines a glass bottle with a dye or dye-equivalent ingredient and yields four kits. The full color range is covered: black, blue (from blue dye or lapis lazuli), brown, cyan, gray, green, light blue, light gray, lime, magenta, orange, pink, purple, red, white (from white dye or bone meal), and yellow.
Iron Chain — two iron ingots plus one iron nugget.
Leather Block — five leather plus four string.
Raw Concrete Powder — four gravel plus five sand, producing eight.
Paladin's Furniture — one iron ingot, one book, and one orange dye.
Simple Furniture Recipes
The Simple Furniture station has 5 recipes. These include lighting and small appliances:
Simple Ceiling Light — one redstone lamp, two light gray concrete, and three glass, producing two.
Glass Modern Light Pendant — one Simple Ceiling Light, two light gray concrete, and two white stained glass.
Gray Modern Light Pendant — one Simple Ceiling Light, two light gray concrete, and two gray concrete.
White Modern Light Pendant — one Simple Ceiling Light, two light gray concrete, and two white concrete.
Iron Toaster — five iron ingots, one lever, and one redstone dust, producing nine.
Notice that the pendant recipes consume a Simple Ceiling Light, so craft that first if you want the modern light variants.
Using Dye Kits
Dye Kits are made from a bottle and the matching dye color. Their purpose is recoloring: shift right-click with a kit to change the wool color on certain furniture pieces. The same kits also work on sheep.
Getting Started in Order
A practical sequence looks like this:
- Gather wood planks and an iron ingot, then craft the Wood Working Table on a vanilla crafting table.
- Use the Wood Working Table to craft the Furniture Workbench from oak planks and an iron ingot.
- Craft Dye Kits on the crafting station if you plan to recolor furniture.
- Craft a Simple Ceiling Light before attempting any of the modern light pendants, since each pendant recipe requires one.
- Keep iron, redstone, and concrete on hand for the small appliance and lighting recipes.
Every recipe above runs through one of these stations, so establishing the Wood Working Table first unlocks everything else in the chain.
