The Pastel mod's processing machines—the Fusion Shrine, Enchanter, and Pigment Pedestal—each handle a distinct set of transformations and recipes. This guide covers what each machine does and the kinds of inputs they require.

Fusion Shrine

The Fusion Shrine is a crafting station with 71 recipes. It combines several specific ingredients into a single powerful or decorative output. Many recipes follow a clear pattern, often using a base item, a pigment, and a rare material.

Simple conversions: Some recipes are straightforward, such as turning a Sunflower, Mermaid's Gem, or Storm Stone into another item.
Rings and equipment: You can craft upgraded gear. For example, a Fanciful Bismuth Ring combined with a Block of Pure Gold, Moonstone Shard, and Resonant Lily creates A Neat Ring. Other examples include the Azure Dike Belt and Azure Dike Ring, both requiring Raw Azurite and Blue Pigment alongside their Fanciful base.
Tool upgrades: The Shrine can upgrade golden tools into bedrock versions. A Golden Pickaxe, for instance, needs Bedrock Dust, Black Pigment, Onyx Powder, Stratine Gem, and Stratine Fragments to become a Bedrock Pickaxe. This pattern applies to swords, axes, shovels, hoes, helmets, chestplates, leggings, boots, bows, crossbows, fishing rods, and shears.
Specialized items: Other outputs include the Artist's Palette (from Black Planks, Black Pigment, and Spectral Shard) and the Ashen Circlet (from a Fanciful Circlet, Stratine Gem, Neolith, and Orange Pigment). The Circlet of Arrogance requires a Fanciful Circlet with Pure Malachite, Blood Orchid Petal, Moonstone Powder, and Red Pigment.

Enchanter

The Enchanter also has 71 recipes, but its function is more focused. Every recipe takes a Book, four of one color of Pigment, and two each of two different materials. The result is always an Enchanted Book.

Pigment and material pairs: The color of pigment and the paired materials determine the enchantment. For instance, Light Blue Pigment with Heart of the Sea and Mermaid's Gem produces one type, while Red Pigment with Storm Stone and Stratine Fragments produces another.
Variety of components: The Enchanter accepts a wide range of secondary ingredients. Common examples include Gold Ingot, Iron Ingot, Flint, String, Redstone Dust, Gunpowder, and Sugar. Rarer options include Ender Pearl, Ghast Tear, Nautilus Shell, Soul Sand, Honeycomb, Glowstone Dust, and Diamond.
Mod-specific materials: Many recipes rely on Pastel's unique resources, such as Downstone Fragments, Pure Netherite Scrap, Pure Bloodstone, Pure Copper, Paltaeria Gem, Resonance Shard, Bismuth Crystal, Moonstruck Nectar, Shimmerstone Gem, Stratine Gem, Stratine Fragments, Bedrock Dust, and Dragonbone Chunk. A Bottle of Ruin can also be used.

Pigment Pedestal

The Pigment Pedestal is the largest machine, with 476 recipes. It focuses on construction and decorative blocks, though it also handles some special items.

Building blocks: Many recipes produce multiple blocks at once. For example, combining a Block of Amethyst with Polished Basalt and a Block of Shimmerstone yields four Amethyst Basalt Light blocks. Similar recipes exist for Polished Calcite.
Chiseled variants: You can create chiseled blocks. Polished Basalt with an Amethyst Cluster gives eight Amethyst Chiseled Basalt, while using an Amethyst Shard instead gives a single block. The same applies to Polished Calcite.
Glass and other items: Amethyst Shard combined with Glass creates eight Amethyst Glass blocks. The Pedestal can also craft items like the Amethyst Chime, which uses an Amethyst Shard, Polished Basalt, Polished Calcite, String, and a Shimmerstone Gem.
Special idols: One example is the Adjuvant Idol, made from a Snow Golem Head, Vegetal, Quitoxic Powder, and Stardust.
