Pixelmon: Scale, Crafting and the Infuser
Pixelmon is the largest mod on this wiki by item count. This guide covers its scale, where its recipes sit, and the one system that changed sharply between versions.
The numbers
2,240 pages across 1,449 items and 791 blocks, with 93 worldgen structures. The item-heavy split is unusual at this size and reflects how much of the mod is carried rather than placed.
The recipe list is dominated by ordinary crafting: 1,091 recipes on 1.21.1 and 1,032 on 1.20.1. Beyond that, 55 smelting recipes on the newer build against 31 on the older, 43 blasting against 19, and 20 stonecutting on both.
The Infuser shrank by more than half
Infuser carries 41 recipes on 1.21.1 and 102 on 1.20.1. That is the single biggest version difference in the mod, and it runs the opposite way to everything else — smelting and blasting both roughly doubled on the newer build while the infuser lost sixty recipes.
If you are following a guide that leans on infusing, check which line it was written for.
Ninety-three structures, in clear tiers
The placement settings sort them cleanly:
- Spacing 75, separation 52 — ten type-themed builds including Dragon, Electric, Fairy, Fire, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Ice and Steel. These are the rarest ordinary structures.
- Spacing 70, separation 50 — the Plasma build, alone at its tier
- Spacing 53, separation 31 — twenty-seven biome-themed builds
- Spacing 50, separation 40 — Spear Pillar and the Land and Water Chalices
- Spacing 24, separation 12 — thirty biome variants, the common tier
- Spacing 20, separation 10 — four legendary sites: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Ilex
Ultra Space is dense on purpose
Six Ultra builds sit at a spacing of 12 with a separation of 6, five more at 5 and 2, and two at 3 and 1. Those last figures are extreme — at a spacing of 3 you cannot avoid them. That density is deliberate: those structures are the terrain of their dimension rather than landmarks within it.
Where to start
With 1,449 items registered, browsing the list is not a plan. The 24/12 biome tier is what you will meet first while travelling, and the four legendary sites at 20/10 are dense enough to find deliberately without a long expedition.
