Rechiseled: Decorative Block Variants with the Chisel

Rechiseled lets you exchange vanilla blocks for over 600 decorative variants with connected textures. This guide covers how to use it.

The Chisel

The Chisel is the mod's only tool. Right-click it to open the chiseling screen, or left-click a placed block to cycle through its decorative variants directly in the world — a quick way to restyle as you build.

The chiseling screen

The chiseling screen is where the full choice lives: put a block in and preview all of its variants, including their stairs and slabs. Most blocks come in a version with connecting textures and one without, and the screen lets you toggle between them, so you control whether a wall reads as one continuous surface or as individual blocks.

Using it

Rechiseled is purely cosmetic — variants exchange freely, so restyling costs nothing but the chisel's use. Build with ordinary blocks, then chisel them into the exact decorative variant, stair or slab you want, choosing connected or non-connected textures to match the surface you are making.
