Choosing a Second Shape, Returning to Player Form, and Managing Shapes and Skins in ReMorphed
ReMorphed lets you hold more than one creature form, switch back to your normal player body, and control which shapes and skins stay unlocked. Everything below is done through the mod's interface and its hotkeys rather than through crafting.
Opening the Menu and Picking a Second Shape
The remorphed menu is where you select an additional form to use. Open it with the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu), then make your choice from what the menu presents. This is the same menu that carries the mod's other screens, so once it is open you can move between the shape selection and the help and information sections.
To leave the menu, press any key.
Using a Mob Ability
Once you are in a mob's form, you can trigger that mob's special action. Press the R key to use the ability.
After you use it, a cooldown indicator shows up in the bottom-right corner of your screen. That indicator tells you when the ability is ready to fire again, so you always know whether you can use it right away or need to wait.
A complete list of abilities exists outside the game, but the in-menu information points you toward it if you want the full reference.
Turning Back Into a Player
If you want to stop being a mob and return to your ordinary body, use the player icon. Selecting it transforms you back into a player, ending your current creature form.
Managing Unlocked Shapes
Your unlocked shapes can be cleaned up individually or all at once.
- removeShape — takes a single shape out of your unlocked set. The message you see names which shape was dropped and from whom.
- clearShapes — wipes every unlocked shape you have accumulated.
Both actions report back to you in the chat or on-screen text so you can confirm what was removed.
Managing Unlocked Skins
Skins follow the same pattern as shapes.
- removeSkin — removes one skin from your unlocked collection, and the confirmation names the skin and its owner.
- clearSkins — removes all unlocked skins at once.
Special Shapes
Some shapes are not ordinary unlocks. If you qualify for one, the menu tells you so with a congratulatory message about your special shape. If you do not yet meet the requirement, the menu shows what you still need — for example, it may tell you to unlock a wolf first before the special shape becomes available.
Help, Config, and Credits
The mod includes a help menu you can open from the interface. It also carries a welcome message identifying ReMorphed as a rebuild based on Identity by Draylar and written by To_Craft.
If something is not working or you want to suggest something, the support section directs you to the Woodwalkers GitHub repository, where issues and suggestions are handled.
For deeper changes, a config file controls every element of the mod. The config section points you to that file's location so you can edit it directly.
The credits section thanks the project's supporters and lists the people who contributed, split into general credits and translators. The translator list is currently just one person, and the mod invites anyone interested to help with translations — noting that there is even a custom texture made for developers.
