Blueprints, Memory Chips, and the Matter Value Reference for Replication
Matter Blueprints and
Memory Chips are two crafted components in Replication, and the Matter Value reference defines which materials the mod's systems can recognize. This guide covers how to craft both items and lists the tag entries that make up the Matter Value reference.
Crafting a Matter Blueprint
A
Matter Blueprint is made with a shaped recipe. The grid requires six
Replica Ingots, one
Blaze Powder, one
Paper, and one
Piston.
Gather the
Replica Ingots first, since they account for most of the recipe. Add the
Blaze Powder and
Paper alongside them, then include the
Piston to complete the set of ingredients. Arrange everything in the correct shaped pattern on the crafting grid to produce the
Matter Blueprint.
Crafting a Memory Chip
A
Memory Chip also uses a shaped recipe. It calls for two
Redstone Dust, three
Replica Ingots, and two
Gold Ingots.
This recipe leans on
Replica Ingots again, so keep a steady supply on hand if you plan to craft both components. The
Redstone Dust and
Gold Ingots round out the ingredient list. Lay the items out in the proper shaped arrangement to craft the
Memory Chip.
The Matter Value Reference
The Matter Value reference contains 223 recipes. The entries below are examples drawn from that reference, listed as tags.
- #c:berries
- #c:cobblestones
- #c:cork
- #c:crops
- #c:dust/dark
- #c:food/berry
- #c:fruits
- #c:gems/dark
- #c:gravels
- #c:ingots/aluminum
- #c:ingots/antimony
- #c:ingots/iesnium
- #c:ingots/iridium
- #c:ingots/lead
- #c:ingots/mithril
- #c:ingots/nickel
- #c:ingots/osmium
- #c:ingots/platinum
- #c:ingots/plutonium
- #c:ingots/silver
- #c:ingots/tin
- #c:ingots/titanium
- #c:ingots/tungsten
- #c:ingots/uraninite
These tags span several categories. Some cover food and plant materials, such as berries, crops, fruits, and the berry food tag. Others cover stone and loose materials, including cobblestones and gravels. A few cover dark-colored materials, such as dark dust and dark gems. The largest group in this sample is the ingot tags, which range from common metals like aluminum, lead, nickel, silver, and tin to less familiar ones like antimony, iesnium, iridium, mithril, osmium, platinum, plutonium, titanium, tungsten, and uraninite.
Using These Together
The two crafted items and the Matter Value reference serve different roles.
Matter Blueprints and
Memory Chips are physical components you make at a crafting grid from
Replica Ingots and a handful of other materials. The Matter Value reference, by contrast, is a list of 223 recipes keyed by tags, and the tags above are only examples from that larger set.
Because the reference is tag-based, the entries are grouped by material type rather than by individual item. That means a tag such as #c:ingots/tin can stand in for any item carrying that tag, and the same logic applies to the food, stone, and gem tags shown here. When you check whether a material is covered, look for its tag in the reference rather than a specific item name.
Keep the ingredient requirements for
Matter Blueprints and
Memory Chips in mind as you gather materials, and treat the tag list above as a starting point for understanding what the Matter Value reference recognizes.
