How to Open the Screenshot Viewer and Find Your Screenshot Folder
The Screenshot Viewer gives you a dedicated screen for browsing, sorting, and managing the screenshots you have taken. You reach it through buttons, hotkeys, and chat links rather than through any crafting recipe, and its options live in its own configuration screen.
Opening the Screenshot Manager
The main screen is the Screenshot Manager, and it can be opened from several places depending on which hooks you have turned on.
- Pause menu button — With Show Button In Pause Menu enabled, a button appears in the pause menu that takes you straight to your screenshots.
- Title screen button — With Show Button On Title Screen enabled, a button appears on the title screen for the same purpose.
- Chat links — With Redirect Screenshot Chat Links enabled, clicking the link that is printed in chat when you take a screenshot opens that image directly in the manager.
- Direct open — The Open Screenshot Manager action opens the screen itself; assign it to the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu).
Two offset settings let you reposition the pause menu button: Pause Menu Button Offset controls the horizontal pixel offset, and Pause Menu Button Vertical Offset controls the vertical one. The title screen button has its own Title Screen Button Horizontal Offset.
Navigating and Zooming
Inside the manager, Zoom Mode is a hold action — hold the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu) to zoom. Invert Zoom Direction reverses which way zooming moves when you scroll. Scroll speed sets how fast the screen scrolls, on a scale from 1 to 50.
Managing Screenshots
Right-clicking a screenshot opens its management options, and Manage Screenshots... is the entry point for that menu.
- Delete — Removes one or more screenshots. With Prompt When Deleting Screenshot enabled you get a confirmation first, warning that the image will be lost forever. Toggle Fast Delete changes how deletion behaves.
- Rename — Prompts you to enter a new name for the screenshot.
- Copy — Copies the screenshot to your clipboard and reports either a copy success or a copy failure message.
- Open in manager — The Open screenshot in the Screenshot Manager... option redirects an image into the manager view.
If you have not captured anything yet, the screen tells you that you appear to have no screenshots.
Sorting and Layout
The manager can order your screenshots by Ascending Order or Descending Order, and Default Screenshot List Ordering decides which order is used when the screen first opens. Initial Screenshot Amount Per Row sets how many screenshots appear per row on open, from 2 to 8. Screenshot Names Visibility controls whether names are shown, and Screenshot Elements Text Color sets their color. Render Screenshot Element Font Shadow toggles a shadow beneath that text, while Background Opacity of the Screenshot Elements adjusts the hover background from 0 to 100. Render Wide Properties Button switches the properties buttons between wide and square shapes. Display Hint Tooltip controls whether a tooltip with useful information appears after you hover over a screenshot for a while, and Enable Screenshot Enlargement Animation controls whether clicking a screenshot plays a growing animation as it enlarges.
Finding Your Screenshot Folder
Open Screenshot Folder takes you to the directory holding your images. The Screenshots Folder setting shows the path to the folder whose images are displayed in the screen, and there is a matching path setting for the folder holding the thumbnails used in the screen. The thumbnail downscale ratio controls the size difference between a screenshot and its thumbnail; setting it to none stops thumbnails from being generated at all.
Configuration Notes
The Screenshot Viewer Config screen holds these options, split into Screenshot Viewer Hooks for the in-game entry points and Screenshot Manager Customization for the screen's appearance. If in-game configuration is not supported, the screen will say so and suggest the 'Configured' mod instead. Refresh Screenshots reloads the list so newly taken images appear; use the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu).
