Create Slice & Dice Machine Recipes
This guide details the various recipes available through Create Slice & Dice's machines.
Crafting Recipes
The Crafting process has two distinct recipes.
- To create a
Slicer: Combine a
Cogwheel, an
Andesite Casing, and a
Turntable. - To create three
Sprinkler units: Combine four
Copper Sheet items, a
Fluid Pipe, and
Iron Bars.
Filling Recipes
The create:filling process offers two recipes for combining items with fluids.
- To create
hot_cocoa: Combine a
Glass Bottle with 250 millibuckets of create:chocolate. - To create
rich_soil: Combine
organic_compost with 500 millibuckets of sliceanddice:fertilizer.
Mixing Recipes
The Mixing process allows for the creation of Fertilizer using different ingredients and fluid quantities. All recipes result in Fertilizer.
- Combine
organic_compost with 250 millibuckets of minecraft:water to produce Fertilizer. - Use 1000 millibuckets of minecraft:water to produce Fertilizer.
- Combine
Tree Fertilizer with 500 millibuckets of minecraft:water to produce Fertilizer.
The complete recipe list
Seven recipes exist in this mod, and they fit in one place:
Mixing (3) — all producing Liquid Fertilizer:
- organic compost with 250 mb of fluid, returning 250 mb
Tree Fertilizer with 500 mb, returning 500 mb- a 1000 mb variant returning 1000 mb
Filling (2) and Crafting (5 on 1.21.1, 3 on 1.20.1) cover the blocks and the bucket.
What the ratios tell you
Each mixing recipe returns the same volume it takes in, which means the fluid is being *converted* rather than multiplied. The input material — compost or tree fertilizer — is what you are actually spending, and the fluid volume is just the carrier.
Scaling production therefore means scaling compost, not tanks.
Create is required, not optional
Mixing and filling are Create operations, and the crafting recipes take
Andesite Casing,
Cogwheel,
Copper Sheet and
Fluid Pipe. Without Create running there is nothing here to build or run.
Version parity
Counts are identical on 1.21.1 (4.3.3) and 1.20.1 (3.6.0): two crafting, two filling, three mixing on both.
Why the counts are so small
Four pages, one item, three blocks and seven recipes is the whole mod, and that is deliberate: Slice & Dice exists to add one fluid and the machinery to apply it, not to extend Create's tech tree. Nothing here is a stepping stone to something larger.
The practical implication is that once the seven recipes above are built, you have finished the mod. Scaling up means duplicating the same small setup rather than upgrading it.
