Stalwart Dungeons: Three Dungeons and the Hammer Weapon
Stalwart Dungeons is a boss-and-dungeon mod that adds three new dungeons and a family of hammer weapons. This guide introduces what it adds and where to fight.
The three dungeons
The mod places two dungeons in the Nether and one in the End:
- The Awful Dungeon appears in Soul Sand Valley and Warped Forest biomes.
- The Keeping Castle appears in Nether Wastes and Crimson Forest biomes.
- An End dungeon appears in the Void and Midlands biomes.
Each dungeon can also be generated on demand using its spawner item from the creative inventory.
Hammers
The mod's signature weapon is the hammer, useful in combat and made in tiers. Craft a
Iron Hammer from four
Iron Ingot, a
Smooth Stone and two
Stick, a
Golden Hammer from four
Gold Ingot on the same pattern, and a
Diamond Hammer from four
Diamond. The diamond hammer then upgrades further into netherite and tungsten variants covered in the hammers guide.
What to gather
Clearing the dungeons yields the mod's new materials — Tungsten and
Chorundum ores and the End-themed drops — which feed the hammer upgrades and the warted armor set.
This line is 1.20.1 only
Stalwart Dungeons here is build 1.2.8 on Minecraft 1.20.1. There is no 1.21.1 version in this line.
A compact gear mod
98 pages across 59 items and 39 blocks, built on 55 crafting recipes, 9 stonecutting, 6 smithing transforms, 4 smelting and 2 blasting.
The six smithing transforms are the mod's upgrade path — a short enough list that the whole endgame can be planned in advance.
No structures registered
Despite the name, the mod registers no structures of its own in the data. Its content is therefore reached through crafting and through whatever dungeons the rest of your pack provides, rather than through builds this mod places.
That is worth knowing before going looking for a Stalwart dungeon to clear.
Where to start
Work the crafting list toward the materials the six smithing recipes need. With 55 crafting recipes total, the path from raw material to upgraded gear is short and mostly linear.
