Crafting Recipes

The crafting system in Stellaris contains over 200 recipes, covering machines, storage, building materials, and tools. Many recipes combine standard Minecraft items with Stellaris-specific metals like Steel Ingot, Desh Ingot, and Heavy Metal Ingot.

Machines and Components

Combine Redstone Dust x3, a Lightning Rod, and Steel Ingot x5 to craft an Antenna.
Place a Tier 2 Base Module with a Vacuumator to create an Auto Feeder Module.
Build a Battery using Heavy Metal Nugget x2, Heavy Metal Ingot x5, and Steel Ingot x2.
Create a Coal Generator by combining Steel Ingot x7, Lapis Lazuli, and a Blast Furnace.

Storage Tanks

A Big Fuel Tank requires Desh Ingot x7 and a Bucket.
A Big Oxygen Tank is made from Steel Ingot x7 and a Steel Nugget.

Cans and Dyes

Dye a Green Can blue by combining it with Blue Dye to produce a Blue Can.

Block Compression and Decompression

Compress nine Raw Desh Ingot into a Block of Raw Desh.
Compress nine Raw Steel Ingot into a Block of Raw Steel.
Compress nine Raw Uranium into a Block of Raw Uranium.
Compress nine Steel Ingot into a Block of Steel.
Compress nine Desh Ingot into a Desh Block, and reverse the process to reclaim the ingots.

Craft Chiseled Mars Stone from two Mars Stone Brick Slabs.
Craft Chiseled Mercury Stone from two marcury_stone_slab items.

The same ore-to-ingot conversions apply, including Venus Coal Ore to Coal, Raw Corronium and Venus Corronium Ore to Corronium Ingot, Moon Desh Ore and Raw Desh Ingot to Desh Ingot, Mars Diamond Ore and Venus Diamond Ore to Diamond, Venus Gold Ore to Gold Ingot, and Iron Ingot to Heavy Metal Ingot.

Special Machines

Beyond standard crafting, smelting, and blasting, Stellaris includes dedicated processing machines. The Fuel Refinery, Rocket Station, and Water Seperator each handle their own unique recipes. These machines require specific inputs and produce specialized outputs used for advanced rocketry and life support systems.
