Mining Zeiton and Crafting Spatial Instruments in TARDIS Refined
guide
Mining subterranean veins of
Zeiton Ore is the essential first step to forging temporal technology in TARDIS Refined. Refining this exotic mineral unlocks resilient structural composites, illuminated navigation lanterns, and precision calibration instruments required to pilot and configure your time capsule interior.
Locating and Smelting Raw Zeiton
Zeiton is an otherworldly crystalline mineral embedded deep within the bedrock of the Overworld:
- Subterranean distribution:
Zeiton Ore and its dense deepslate counterpart generate naturally underground in the Overworld, with smaller veins reaching up to Y level 72. Explorers may also discover subterranean root cluster features in deep underground caverns situated beneath mountain ranges and oceans. - Extracting raw crystals: Breaking the ore blocks yields chunks of
Raw Zeiton. - Smelting into ingots: Smelting or blasting
Raw Zeiton inside any furnace yields a refined
Zeiton Ingot.
Structural Zeiton Materials and Lanterns
Refined ingots can be broken down or consolidated into architectural building blocks:
- Managing ingots: Placing one
Zeiton Ingot into a crafting grid yields nine
Zeiton Nugget pieces. Reversing the recipe restores one ingot from nine nuggets. - Compacting blocks: Combining nine
Zeiton Ingot items across a three-by-three crafting grid crafts one solid
Block of Zeiton. - Crafting
Zeiton Lantern: Surround a single torch with eight
Zeiton Nugget items on a crafting table to manufacture an ambient spatial lantern. - Forging
Zeiton Glass: Place one glass block in the center of a crafting table and surround it with four
Zeiton Ingot items on the cardinal sides to forge four pieces of blast-resistant
Zeiton Glass. - Fusing metallic blocks: Combining one
Zeiton Ingot shapelessly with a block of iron crafts a
Zeiton Fused Iron Block. Similarly, combining an ingot with a block of copper produces a
Zeiton Fused Copper Block.
Crafting Temporal Control Instruments
Operating complex time capsule mechanisms demands specialized handheld diagnostics and sonic instruments:
- Assembling
AR Glasses: In a crafting table, place wooden sticks in the top-left, top-right, middle-left, and middle-right slots, then place glass panes on the bottom-left and bottom-right with a
Zeiton Ingot resting between them in the bottom-center. These glasses provide real-time spatial overlays. - Assembling the
Amethyst Screwdriver: Place an amethyst shard in the top-center slot, a stone button in the middle-left slot, a blaze rod in the center slot, and lapis lazuli in the bottom-center slot. - Constructing the
Astral Manipulator: Combine four iron ingots, three blocks of amethyst, one redstone lamp, and one redstone torch across a crafting table to assemble this spatial interface station. - Crafting the
Growth Drill: In a crafting table, arrange three iron pickaxes in the top-middle, middle-left, and middle-right slots around a central cobblestone block, anchoring the bottom row with two iron ingots and redstone dust. - Forging the
Mallet: Place stone across all slots of the top two rows of a crafting table, placing a wooden stick in the bottom-center slot.
Assembling Secure Access Doors
Securing entrance portals requires dedicated locking mechanisms:
- Crafting the
Tardis Key: Combine one iron ingot and one tripwire hook shapelessly in a crafting grid. - Crafting the
Tardis Door: Combine one iron ingot, one tripwire hook, and one iron door shapelessly in a crafting grid. - Building the
Bulk Head Door: Place a redstone lamp in the top-center slot, place pistons on the middle-left and middle-right with an iron door between them, and place redstone dust flanking a second iron door in the bottom row.
