Using the Ocarina of Power and Music Sheets
The Ocarina of Power is a device that can dramatically change how you approach combat, exploration, and even time itself. Its true potential is unlocked when you combine it with music sheets, which grant various effects that trigger once you finish playing a song.
Getting Started with the Ocarina
To use the Ocarina of Power, simply Right Click to play the currently selected song. To change your settings, Sneak + Right Click to open its dedicated menu. This interface is where you will manage both your songs and your equipped music sheets.
Understanding Music Sheets
Music sheets are the core of the Ocarina's utility. They are found scattered across the world and cannot be crafted. Each sheet adds a specific effect to your performance, but that effect only activates after you have fully played your chosen song.
Most sheets provide a benefit directly to you, but some are designed to influence creatures around you or even alter the environment itself. Because effects can stack and interact, you are encouraged to experiment with different combinations to find what works best for your playstyle.
The Role of Songs
The song you select is just as important as the sheets you equip. Each song modifies the effects of your music sheets differently. A song that is excellent for a defensive situation might be poor for an offensive one. To understand what a particular song does, hover over its button in the Ocarina menu. You can choose your active song from the left side of that same menu.
Music Sheet of Bolstering
The 
Music Sheet of Bolstering is a straightforward upgrade. When equipped, it raises the level of all other music sheet effects by +1. This means any buffs you apply will be stronger than their base version.
This sheet is most commonly found inside buried treasure. It can also appear occasionally in infested laboratories, which are rare structures located deep underground.
Music Sheet of Everlasting
The 
Music Sheet of Everlasting focuses on duration rather than intensity. It multiplies the duration of all other music sheet effects by 1.5 times. This is ideal for long exploration sessions or drawn-out fights where you want your buffs to persist.
Like the Bolstering sheet, this one is almost always found in buried treasure. It can also be located in snow fortresses, which generate in any biome where snow falls.
Music Sheet of Time
The 
Music Sheet of Time does not buff you directly. Instead, it manipulates the world clock. When you finish playing a song with this sheet equipped, it advances the world time by 12 hours. If you have any bonuses that increase effect level, those will also increase the number of hours advanced.
This sheet is obtained through a specific action: going to sleep while holding a prismatic jewel in your inventory. The jewel is not consumed in the process, so you can use it repeatedly to acquire multiple copies of this sheet.
