Polaroid Pieces & Instability Discs

guide

The Polaroid and Instability music discs serve as acoustic and photographic remnants within the anomalous reality of The Broken Script. Players exploring corrupt anomalies and broken dimensions can recover scattered image fragments to reconstruct a forgotten photograph, while discovering erratic audio discs that play haunting soundscapes on standard jukeboxes.

Collecting Polaroid Fragments

Restoring the lost photograph requires recovering five unique picture fragments scattered throughout the corrupted environment. Each fragment represents a torn section of the original print:

Polaroid Piece 1
Polaroid Piece 2
Polaroid Piece 3
Polaroid Piece 4
Polaroid Piece 5

These pieces cannot be crafted from mundane materials; they must be gathered by investigating spatial irregularities and surviving anomalous manifestations.

Crafting The Polaroid

Once all five pieces have been assembled, players can restore the complete image using shapeless crafting:

Place one Polaroid Piece 1, one Polaroid Piece 2, one Polaroid Piece 3, one Polaroid Piece 4, and one Polaroid Piece 5 onto any crafting grid in any arrangement.
Combining all five fragments produces one completed copy of The Polaroid.
Crafting this restored photograph immediately unlocks the advancement Look at the bigger picture, carrying the cryptic lore inscription A memory.

The completed Polaroid serves as an enigmatic keepsake, documenting historical traces of the world before digital distortion and reality fractures began degrading the environment.

Instability Music Discs

In addition to visual relics, players can discover an array of anomalous sound recordings formatted as playable music discs. These records can be inserted into any standard jukebox to playback distorted acoustic tracks composed for the mod's unsettling atmosphere.

The core auditory set consists of the Instability track series:

Music Disc playing the track L0V3M1ST - Instability.
Music Disc playing the delicate music box arrangement L0V3M1ST - Instability (Music Box).
Music Disc playing the energetic progression L0V3M1ST - Instability V2.
Music Disc playing the dark synthesized variation L0V3M1ST - Instability V3.

Cryptic Audio Logs and Foreign Media

Beyond the musical series, explorers can retrieve numbered record discs that convey fractured audio logs:

Music Disc recorded with the audio track Betray.
Music Disc recorded with the audio track You can't.
Music Disc recorded with the audio track Silenced.

Players may also encounter the peculiar Foreign Music Disc, which carries the external in-game tooltip reminder Also try The Broken Content!

Gathering and archiving these acoustic recordings provides atmospheric depth to personal bases, allowing players to establish an eerie sonic environment that echoes the mysterious events unfolding across corrupted dimensions.
