Forging Fiery Armor and Blazing Tools in Twilight Forest
Fiery equipment in The Twilight Forest provides endgame defensive armor and self-smelting tools infused with the blazing blood and tears of twilight apex bosses. Forged by infusing standard iron metalwork with concentrated boss essence, fiery gear ignites adversaries on contact and accelerates subterranean mining.
Harvesting Fiery Blood and Fiery Tears
Crafting fiery metal requires defeating two major progression bosses in the Twilight Forest:
- Hydra: slain Hydras in the Fire Swamp drop between seven and ten vials of
Fiery Blood. - Ur-Ghast: defeating the flying titan atop the Darktower yields between one and five vials of
Fiery Tears. These tears can also be recovered from boss reward chests at the summit of the tower.
Fiery Blood and Fiery Tears share identical metallurgical properties and can be used interchangeably in all fiery smelting and smithing recipes.
Smelting Fiery Ingots and Storage Blocks
Refining raw boss fluid into workable metal involves simple alloying. Combining one fiery vial (Fiery Blood or Fiery Tears) with one 
Iron Ingot yields one 
Fiery Ingot.
- Combining nine Fiery Ingot items in a three-by-three crafting grid creates one
Block of Fiery Metal. - Placing a Block of Fiery Metal into a crafting grid uncrafts the storage block back into nine Fiery Ingot items.
Forging Fiery Weapons and Tools
Players can craft fiery armaments either from refined ingots or by directly infusing existing iron gear with fiery vials:
Fiery Sword: crafted from two Fiery Ingot items and one 
Blaze Rod, or by combining one iron sword with two fiery vials and one blaze rod. The sword inflicts high melee damage and carries an innate fiery enchantment that burns targets on every strike.
Fiery Pickaxe: crafted from three Fiery Ingot items and two Blaze Rod items, or by combining one iron pickaxe with three fiery vials and two blaze rods. The fiery pickaxe features built-in auto-smelting: mining iron ore, gold ore, or sand automatically smelts them into refined ingots and glass blocks instantly.
Assembling the Fiery Armor Set
The fiery armor set delivers high damage reduction alongside a potent retaliatory burning enchantment that ignites hostile mobs whenever they strike the player in melee combat.
Armor pieces can be crafted through either ingot arrangements or iron gear infusions:
Fiery Helmet: crafted from five Fiery Ingot items in an inverted U-shape, or by combining one iron helmet with five fiery vials.
Fiery Chestplate: crafted from eight Fiery Ingot items filling the grid, or by combining one iron chestplate with eight fiery vials.
Fiery Leggings: crafted from seven Fiery Ingot items, or by combining one iron leggings with seven fiery vials.
Fiery Boots: crafted from four Fiery Ingot items, or by combining one iron boots with four fiery vials.
Wearing the complete set ensures broad fire resistance against environmental lava and flame attacks while setting nearby aggressors ablaze.
