All Bobber Variants in Tide 2 and the Special Items Used to Craft Them

Every bobber variant in Tide 2 is made with a shapeless crafting recipe, and each one combines the same two base ingredients with a single special item. The shared foundation is a Slimeball and Oak Planks. What changes between recipes is the third ingredient, which determines which bobber you receive. Because the recipe is shapeless, the position of the ingredients in the crafting grid does not matter — only the combination of items does.

The Shared Base Recipe

All six bobbers follow the same pattern:

  • Slimeball
  • Oak Planks
  • One special item (listed below)

Place these three items anywhere in a crafting grid and the corresponding bobber is produced. There is no shaped arrangement to memorize, which makes each recipe quick to craft once you have the special item on hand.

Amethyst Bobber

The Amethyst Bobber is crafted by combining a Slimeball, Oak Planks, and an Amethyst Shard. Amethyst Shards come from amethyst clusters, making this one of the more accessible special ingredients if you have found an amethyst geode.

Heart Bobber

The Heart Bobber uses a Heart of the Sea as its special item, alongside the Slimeball and Oak Planks. The Heart of the Sea is the ingredient that sets this bobber apart from the others.

Echo Bobber

The Echo Bobber is made with an Echo Shard together with the Slimeball and Oak Planks. The Echo Shard is the defining ingredient in this recipe.

Netherite Bobber

The Netherite Bobber requires a Netherite Ingot as its special item, combined with the Slimeball and Oak Planks. Of all the special ingredients listed here, the Netherite Ingot is the one tied to the most demanding material chain.

Enchanted Golden Apple Bobber

The Enchanted Golden Apple Bobber is crafted using an Enchanted Golden Apple plus the Slimeball and Oak Planks. The Enchanted Golden Apple serves as the special ingredient that distinguishes this variant.

Nautilus Bobber

The Nautilus Bobber combines a Nautilus Shell with the Slimeball and Oak Planks. The Nautilus Shell is the special item required for this bobber.
