Tide 2 Utility Tools: Fish Finder, Angling Table, and Storage Items
Tide 2 adds several utility tools that support fishing and help you organize what you catch. These include the 
Fish Finder, the 
Angling Table, and a set of storage and display items. Each one has a specific crafting recipe, and knowing those recipes is the main thing you need to make them.
Fish Finder
The Fish Finder is crafted with a shapeless recipe. You combine a 
Pocket Watch, a 
Lunar Calendar, a 
Depth Meter, a 
Climate Gauge, and a 
Weather Radio in any arrangement. Because the recipe is shapeless, the positions of these five ingredients in the crafting grid do not matter — only that all five are present.
This makes the Fish Finder a fairly involved item to assemble, since it depends on several other components being available before you can craft it.
Angling Table
The Angling Table uses a shaped recipe. It requires two 
String, two 
Copper Ingot, and two 
Oak Planks. Unlike the Fish Finder, the arrangement of these ingredients matters because the recipe is shaped. You will need to place them in the correct pattern in the crafting grid to produce the Angling Table.
Fishing Journal
The 
Fishing Journal is made with a shapeless recipe. It takes a 
Raw Cod and a 
Book. Since the recipe is shapeless, you can place the Raw Cod and the Book in any slots and still get the Fishing Journal.
Fish Satchel
The 
Fish Satchel is a storage item crafted with a shaped recipe. It requires four 
Leather and one Raw Cod. As a shaped recipe, the layout of the Leather and Raw Cod in the grid must match the required pattern.
Fish Display
The 
Fish Display is another shaped recipe item. It is made from eight 
Stick and one 
Dark Oak Log. The eight Stick fill most of the grid around the Dark Oak Log, and the exact arrangement matters because the recipe is shaped.
Wooden Crate
The 
Wooden Crate is crafted with a shaped recipe using eight 
Oak Slab. Place the Oak Slab in the required pattern to craft the Wooden Crate.

Shaped recipes, like the ones for the Angling Table, Fish Satchel, Fish Display, and Wooden Crate, require you to arrange the ingredients in a specific pattern.
Keep this in mind as you gather materials. The Fish Finder in particular asks for the most ingredients, so it is worth checking that you have its five components ready before you start crafting.
