Gun Smith Table Crafting and Build Guide
The Gun Smith Table is a core crafting station in the TaCZ mod, and this guide explains how to obtain one using its single, fixed recipe.
Required Materials
To build the Gun Smith Table, you will need exactly these items:
Dark Oak Log x3
Iron Ingot x4
Block of Iron x1
The recipe is a shaped crafting pattern, meaning the items must be arranged in a specific layout on the crafting grid. You cannot substitute any of the listed materials with alternatives.
Crafting Arrangement
Place the materials in the 3x3 crafting grid in the following order:
- Top row: Place one Dark Oak Log in each of the three slots (left, center, right).
- Middle row: Place one Iron Ingot in the left slot, leave the center slot empty, and place one Iron Ingot in the right slot.
- Bottom row: Place one Iron Ingot in the left slot, place the Block of Iron in the center slot, and place one Iron Ingot in the right slot.
After arranging the items correctly, the Gun Smith Table will appear as the output. Drag it into your inventory to complete the crafting process.
Using the Gun Smith Table
Once you have crafted the Gun Smith Table, place it down in your base or workshop. It functions as a crafting station with a single available recipe. When you interact with the table, you will see one option for crafting, which is labeled 
Painting.
The Painting recipe is the only operation currently available through the Gun Smith Table. To use it, you will need to have the required input materials in your inventory. The table will then convert those materials into the painting output.
Practical Notes
Because the recipe requires a full Block of Iron, you will need to smelt nine iron ingots and combine them into a block before you can craft the table. Gathering three Dark Oak Logs is straightforward, but you should ensure you have a steady supply of iron ore before attempting this build.
The shaped nature of the recipe means you cannot use a crafting table's auto-fill feature if it places items in the wrong order. Always double-check your grid layout before finalizing the craft.
After placing the Gun Smith Table, you can break it and pick it up again without losing it, allowing you to move it to a new location if needed. It is a durable workstation that serves as your entry point into the mod's painting system.
Keep the Gun Smith Table in a convenient spot near your other crafting stations, as you will likely return to it whenever you need to produce the Painting item. There are no alternate recipes or upgraded versions of this table, so the single crafting method described here is the only way to obtain it.
