Traveler's Backpack: Storage, Tanks, and Utility
Traveler's Backpack adds unique backpacks that hold your items, carry fluids, and accept a wide range of upgrades. A backpack can be opened by holding it in your main hand and right-clicking, equipped on your back through the Equip button in its interface, and opened while worn with a key press. It also renders on your back once equipped, and it can be placed in the world as a block so hoppers and pipes can reach its storage.
Getting Started
The Standard Traveler's Backpack is the base of the whole system. It can be combined with any dye in crafting to create a unique look, and more than 45 custom backpacks are available, inspired by different creatures and blocks. Tier upgrades raise storage, upgrade slots, and tool slots, and upgrading is done at a Smithing Table using leather, a backpack, and a tier upgrade item.

Tanks, Sleeping Bags, and Other Crafting
The 
Backpack Tank is made from six colorless glass block tags and two Iron Ingot. Sleeping bags come in colors: two 
Black Wool plus one 
White Wool makes a 
Black Sleeping bag, and dye recipes recolor them, such as 
Black Dye plus a 
Blue Sleeping bag for a Black Sleeping bag, or 
Blue Dye plus a Black Sleeping bag for a Blue Sleeping bag. The same pattern applies to 
Brown Sleeping bag variants, and sleeping bags let you rest without resetting your spawn point.
Upgrades start from the Blank Upgrade, crafted from four string tags and a leather tag to produce four at a time. Combining a 
Blast Furnace, a Blank Upgrade, and a wooden chest tag yields a 
Blast Furnace Upgrade. Functionality upgrades cover tanks, crafting, feeding, magnet, pickup, void, and furnace behavior, and a hose item helps manage fluids stored in the backpack.
Managing Your Backpack
The interface provides Sort, Quick Stack, and Transfer buttons, and slots can be marked as unsortable or set to memorize their stack so your storage stays organized. Some custom backpacks grant special abilities, which can be toggled with the ability switch in the interface or a key, and abilities can be disabled in the config. Storage, upgrade, and tool slot counts, enabled upgrades, and integration with Curios, Trinkets, or Accessories are all configurable as well.
