Traveler's Backpack: Storage, Tanks, and Utility

Traveler's Backpack adds unique backpacks that combine storage with built-in fluid tanks and special features. This guide covers how to use them.

Using a backpack

A backpack can be accessed by holding it in your main hand and right-clicking, or equipped on your back through the backpack GUI's Equip button. Once equipped, open it any time with the backpack key (B by default), and it also supports Curios and Trinkets slots where those mods are present.

Storage and tanks

Beyond item storage, each Traveler's Backpack includes built-in fluid tanks, letting you carry water or other liquids alongside your items — useful for long journeys and for feeding tools or machines on the go.

Themed variants

The mod offers many themed backpacks, each with its own look and often a tie to a material or mob. Because it is the successor to Adventure Backpack with remade textures and expanded features, Traveler's Backpack is aimed squarely at exploration — one pack carrying your items, your fluids and a set of travel conveniences.
