Containers, Tank Containers, and Transporter Bodies

This guide covers the containers, tank containers, and transporter bodies used for hauling goods and fluids in the Ultimate Car Mod.

Containers for Solid Goods

The White Container is the primary storage block for transporting solid items. To craft it, combine white concrete with a chest and an iron ingot in a shaped crafting pattern. The resulting container can be attached to compatible vehicles or trailers to carry your cargo over long distances. It functions as a portable storage unit, letting you load items into it and move them as part of your vehicle setup.

Tank Containers for Fluids

For hauling liquids, you need a tank container. The Red Tank Container is crafted by combining red concrete with a tank in a shaped recipe. This container is designed to hold fluids securely while mounted on a vehicle. Unlike the White Container, which stores general items, the Red Tank Container is meant for liquid transport, so plan your cargo type accordingly when choosing between the two.

Transporter Bodies

The Light Blue Transporter Body serves as a specialized mounting frame for hauling goods. Its crafting recipe is simple: arrange light blue concrete in a shaped pattern to produce the transporter body. This body is likely intended to interface with other cargo components, providing a stable base for containers or tank containers on your vehicle. Use it when you need a dedicated structure for securing your load.

Tanks for Fluid Storage

Before you can craft a tank container, you need a basic tank. The mod offers three tank sizes, each with its own recipe:

Small Tank: Crafted with one iron ingot and one tank in a shaped pattern. This is the most compact option, suitable for smaller fluid loads or tight vehicle builds.
Medium Tank: Also crafted with one iron ingot and one tank. Despite sharing the same ingredients as the Small Tank, the Medium Tank provides a larger capacity, so check your inventory and crafting layout to ensure you are making the intended size.
Large Tank: Crafted with a block of iron and one tank. This is the biggest storage option, ideal for bulk fluid transport where you need maximum capacity.

Note that the Small and Medium Tanks share identical ingredient lists, so the shaped crafting arrangement determines which one you produce. Pay attention to the pattern you use.

Choosing the Right Equipment

Your choice of cargo equipment depends on what you are hauling. For solid items like ores, building materials, or collected goods, craft a White Container and mount it on a transporter body if needed. For liquids such as fuel or water, use a Red Tank Container, which requires a basic tank in its recipe. If you need more fluid capacity, upgrade from a Small or Medium Tank to a Large Tank before assembling your tank container.

The Light Blue Transporter Body works as a general-purpose carrier frame, so pair it with either container type depending on your current task. Always ensure your vehicle has enough attachment points for the containers or tanks you plan to use, and balance your load to avoid handling issues during transit.
