Campfire Cooking Recipes and Seafood Dishes in Unusual Fish

guide

Campfire cooking in Unusual Fish allows anglers to roast raw aquatic catches directly over open flames without expending charcoal or coal fuel. The mod introduces an extensive variety of peculiar marine wildlife that can be caught in rivers and oceans. While many exotic fish serve as specimens or crafting components, several species yield savory fillets, patties, and skewers when roasted over coals.

Roasting Catches on the Campfire

A campfire accommodates four items simultaneously upon its burning logs. Placing raw seafood onto an active campfire roasts the meat automatically after a brief cooking duration without requiring fuel replenishment.

One Raw Aero Mono Kebab cooks into one Cooked Aero Mono Kebab. Anglers craft the raw kebab first by combining one raw aero mono fish with one stick in any crafting grid.
One Raw Blizzard Tuna roasts into one Cooked Blizzard Tuna, turning the chilled flesh into a warm expedition meal.
One Raw Mossthorn Patty cooks into one Cooked Mossthorn Patty, creating a nutrient-dense cutlet.
One Raw Porcupine Lobster Tail roasts into one Cooked Porcupine Lobster Tail, transforming spiny crustaceans into tender shellfish meat.
One Raw Shockcat Fillet roasts into one Cooked Shockcat Fillet, cooking electric catfish meat safely for consumption.
Any general raw unusual fish specimen cooks into one Cooked Unusual Fillet, ensuring that everyday catches provide dependable food supplies.

Standard smelting furnaces process these exact six raw items into their cooked counterparts, but a campfire remains the ideal early-game workstation because it requires zero ongoing coal consumption.
