Gunmetal Metallurgy and Weapon Printer Fabrication
Gunmetal metallurgy forms the foundational manufacturing tier in Vic's Point Blank, supplying industrial alloys for firearm internals, robotic motors, and automated weapon printers. Transforming basic raw copper and iron into ballistic hardware requires multi-step furnace smelting, component assembly, and electronic processor fabrication before modern firearms can be produced.
Refining Gunmetal Alloys
The metallurgical progression begins with the compounding of unrefined gunmetal mesh:
- Fabricating Gunmetal Mesh: Place one
Iron Ingot directly above one
Copper Ingot in a vertical crafting column to produce one
Gunmetal Mesh. - Smelting and Blasting: Heating one
Gunmetal Mesh inside a standard furnace through smelting, or in a blast furnace through blasting, refines the alloy into one
Gunmetal Ingot. - Compact Nugget Storage: One
Gunmetal Ingot can be broken down into nine
Gunmetal Nugget pieces. Conversely, arranging nine gunmetal nuggets across a full three-by-three crafting grid recompacts them into one
Gunmetal Ingot.
Assembling Precision Mechanical Components
Raw ingots are shaped into standardized sub-assemblies for firearm construction:
Gun Internals: Fabricating the core firing mechanisms requires three
Gunmetal Ingot and two
Iron Ingot pieces. In a crafting table, arrange two gunmetal ingots in the top-right slots, one gunmetal ingot on the left of the middle row, and two iron ingots in the center and right of the middle row to produce one
Gun Internals assembly.
Assembling the KamiCat Processor
Operating an advanced weapon fabrication printer requires a dedicated logic circuit board known as the
KamiCat Processor:
- Ingredient Requirements: Four
Iron Nugget, two
Redstone Dust, one
Lapis Lazuli, one
Diamond, and one
Copper Ingot. - Grid Configuration: Place iron nuggets in the four outer corners of the crafting table. Place redstone dust in the top-middle and center-right slots. Position lapis lazuli in the center-left slot, the diamond directly in the center slot, and a copper ingot in the bottom-middle slot.
- This creates one
KamiCat Processor, the electronic brain that coordinates three-dimensional weapon printing routines.
Fabricating the Weapon Printer Machine
The Weapon Printer serves as the central manufacturing console where players craft guns, magazines, ammunition, and attachments:
- Construction Bill: Six
Iron Ingot, two
Glass Pane, and one
KamiCat Processor. - Crafting Layout: In a crafting table, place three iron ingots across the top row, two glass panes in the left and center of the middle row with the KamiCat processor on the right, and three iron ingots across the bottom row.
- Completing the craft yields one Weapon Printer. Once placed in your workshop, the printer provides access to the complete catalog of firearms, calibers, and tactical weapon modifications.
