Water Circles Settings in Visuality: Reforged Explained

guide

Visuality: Reforged is a visual enhancement mod that introduces a variety of new particle effects to the game. Among its features is the waterCircle module, which controls the appearance of water circles. This guide covers the settings available for that module: color, density, and radius.

Enabling Water Circles

The waterCircle module has a master toggle called Water Circles Enabled. Turning this on activates the water circle particle effect. With it off, none of the other water circle settings will have any visible result, so this should be your first step when configuring the feature.

Color

The Water Circles Colored option determines whether the water circles use color. When this setting is active, the circles appear with color applied rather than a plain, uncolored look. When it is inactive, the circles render without that coloration. This is a simple on-or-off choice, so there is no separate color picker to configure — you either have colored circles or you do not.

Density

Water Circles Density controls how many water circle particles appear. Raising the density value produces a larger number of circles in the effect, while lowering it produces fewer. If the effect feels too busy or too sparse for your taste, this is the setting to adjust. Because density affects quantity, it pairs naturally with radius: density decides how many circles show up, and radius decides how large each one is.

Radius

Water Circles Radius sets the size of the water circles. A larger radius makes each circle bigger; a smaller radius makes each one more compact. Adjust this alongside density to get the overall look you want — for example, many small circles versus a few large ones.

How to Operate These Settings

Visuality: Reforged is configured through its interface and hotkeys rather than through crafting or in-game items. To reach the water circle options, open the mod's interface using the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu). From there you can toggle Water Circles Enabled, switch Water Circles Colored on or off, and adjust the Water Circles Density and Water Circles Radius values to suit your preference.

Other Modules in the Mod

The water circle settings are one part of a broader set of visual particle features. For reference, the mod also includes:

  • Slime Blobs Enabled — toggles slime blob particles.
  • Charge Particle Enabled — toggles charge particles.
  • Sparkle Particle Enabled — toggles sparkle particles.
  • Soul Particle Enabled — toggles soul particles.
  • hitParticles — with Hit Particles Enabled and Hit Particles Entries, controlling hit particle effects and their entries.
  • shinyArmor — with Shiny Armor Enabled and Shiny Armor Entries, controlling shiny armor effects and their entries.
  • shinyBlocks — with Shiny Blocks Enabled and Shiny Blocks Entries, controlling shiny block effects and their entries.

Each of these follows the same general pattern: a master toggle plus any associated entries or sub-settings.

Practical Tips

If water circles are not showing up at all, confirm that Water Circles Enabled is on. If they appear but look wrong, check Water Circles Colored first, then tune Water Circles Density and Water Circles Radius until the effect matches what you want. Since density and radius interact, change one at a time and observe the result before adjusting the other. Remember that all of these options live in the mod's interface, reachable through its hotkey, so no crafting or item use is involved.
