The 
Warp Plate in Waystones is a step-activated pressure plate teleporter that transports players and entities instantly between linked locations using attuned shards.
Fabricating the Warp Plate and Attunement Shards
Constructing an instant step-on teleporter requires assembling heavy obsidian plates and resonant teleportation shards:
- Open a crafting table and combine smooth stone slabs, obsidian, and a
Warp Stone to forge a Warp Plate. - Place two Warp Plate blocks at the two desired travel endpoints, such as your mountaintop fortress and deep mining shaft.
- Synthesize an unlinked
Dormant Shard at a workbench using warp dust and quartz crystals. - Insert the Dormant Shard into the center slot of the first warp plate to encode its spatial coordinates.
- After a brief crystallization animation, the item transforms into a glowing, coordinate-locked
Attuned Shard. - Carry the Attuned Shard to the destination warp plate and insert it into that plate's internal receptacle slot.
- Linking both plates in reverse allows instantaneous two-way transit between both installations.
Stepping into Instant Transit and Shard Durability
Unlike standard waystones that open a graphical selection menu, warp plates execute instantaneous physical transport upon contact:
