XaeroPlus WorldMap Rendering, Zoom, Minimap and Baritone Settings Guide
XaeroPlus extends the WorldMap and Minimap with rendering tweaks, zoom control, performance options, Baritone integration, and extra interface elements. Everything below is handled through the mod's settings screens and its hotkeys, which you assign in the controls menu.
WorldMap Rendering Options
The Transparent Background setting replaces the WorldMap's usual black backdrop with a see-through one, so whatever sits behind the map shows through.
Transparent Obsidian Roof treats obsidian built at the height limit as see-through. Tiles that were already mapped will not change, so you must map those areas again for the effect to appear. Related settings let you choose the lowest Y level the roof effect applies to, control how opaque the roof tiles are (Roof Obsidian Darkening), and control how opaque snow lying on the roof appears.
Cross Dim Cursor Coords shows the matching coordinates of the opposite dimension (Nether or Overworld) alongside the cursor position readout while you view those maps.
Persist WM Dimension Switch keeps the dimension you selected in the WorldMap after you close its interface, instead of snapping back to the one you are standing in. Radar While Dim Switched turns off radar drawing on the map while you are viewing a different dimension.
If you want the map to keep recording chunks you load while looking at another dimension, enable Region Writes While Dim Switched.
Zoom Limits
Truly Unlimited WorldMap Zoom lifts every zoom restriction on the map. The mod warns that zooming out too far will cause lag and can crash your game, so use it carefully.
Minimap Scaling and FPS
Minimap Scaling Multiplier increases the minimap's render scaling, which puts more chunks in view. To cut down on visual artifacts, keep it within two of the Minimap Size Multiplier value. It has a moderate effect on frame rate, and the FPS limiter is strongly advised when you set it above 2. Minimap Size Multiplier changes how large the minimap is drawn and does not affect FPS; raise it mainly when you raise scaling.
Minimap FPS Limiter draws the minimap at a capped rate so it costs the game less performance. A companion setting decides the cap itself: the lower the cap, the higher your game's frame rate.
Baritone Integration
Baritone Goal Waypoint turns Baritone goals into temporary waypoints so they appear alongside your normal ones. A separate option draws Baritone's current route on both the WorldMap and the Minimap, with Baritone Path Color and Baritone Path Opacity controlling how that route looks.
While the WorldMap is open, three actions are available: Baritone Goal Here (WorldMap) sets a goal at the hovered spot, Baritone Path Here (WorldMap) sets a goal and starts pathing to it, and Baritone Elytra Here (WorldMap) sets a goal and begins elytra pathing. Each uses its corresponding hotkey, which you set in the controls menu. Rotate Here (WorldMap) turns your character toward the block under the cursor.
UI Additions
WorldMap UI Additions controls whether XaeroPlus adds its extra buttons and elements to the WorldMap interface. Waypoints List UI Additions does the same for the Waypoints List. Waypoints List Distance Column shows the distance to each waypoint in a right-hand column, taking the place of any third-party origin text for that waypoint.
XaeroPlus Draw Order lets you arrange the sequence in which XaeroPlus elements, including overlays and highlights, are drawn. Sodium/Embeddium Settings Integration adds the XaeroPlus settings page into Sodium or Embeddium.
The Teleport Fail Notifier posts a chat message when an attempted Xaero teleport does not go through, usually because the server withholds permission. Teleport Fail Wait Ticks sets how long the mod waits for the teleport before reporting failure, and Disable Teleportation switches off teleport buttons everywhere.
